“Literally the kindest people who put so much care and attention into both their food and service. No matter how busy it is, I've never waited longer than 10 minutes! The fish is high quality and always fresh and the rice is perfectly seasoned. Salt spring is so lucky to have such good sushi 💞”

“This is my favourite spot to eat on Saltspring I always have a hectic day there towing and I come in famished and they seat me right away and feed me real good. I'm not even a local and they welcome me and are glad to see me. Lots of parking, food is excellent, prices are fair. Highly recommended.”

“Simply put, this has to be the best bakery I’ve stepped foot into in ages. The quality, craft, care and energy is palpable. Front staff were pleasant and efficient, back staff dialled and determined. Music blasting. Line moving. Chocolate chip cookie, morning bun, sausage roll, and ham sandwich were simple and perfectly executed. And the tomato basil drink was strangely delicious.

I was on Salt Spring for 4 hrs and am glad this was the one stop I made!

“Today we tried the cinnamon twists, jalapeno and cheese criossants, and their breakfast sandwiches. absolutely amazing. The only downside to this visit, is that I won't be able to have more and try their other delicious looking bakery items until I return to Salt Spring. Their staff were also amazing and very good on handwashing between duties. I highly recommended this bakery!”

“Staff beyond friendly, so lovely and felt welcome. Muffins and bread (chicken, cheese on cranberry sourdough) were a bit dry and clearly not baked that morning. Mocha was delicious. Ate outside on solid gorgeous picnic table. Cinnamon bun with raisins was yum.”

“Ideal spot for a quick coffee and lite bite. Service was quick. Tables needed cleaning, however, sign outside door warned customers that they were short staffed and if you were going to complain requested you submit a resume instead. Loved it!!”

“I love Salt spring Coffee, I drink it everyday at home. Stopped in to the cafe on my way to the ferry and I told the cashier that I wanted a coffee, muffin and a roasted veg egg white bite as I pointed to it in the display case. Somehow I didn’t realize how much my bill was when I tapped my card - and ended up waiting over 10 minutes for the girl to hand me a to-go container that had a full eggs Benedict meal with hash browns. I didn’t have time to return it as I was almost late for the ferry and checked my card later that was charged $34 for a meal that I didn’t order or eat. Im confused how the cashier misunderstood my order as I pointed to it in the display case and the full dine-in breakfast menu is in a completely different spot. I know it’s difficult with masks to understand people right now, so maybe training your staff to repeat the order if they are unsure because people have allergies and it’s so disappointing when you are commuting to work and don’t get to eat breakfast!! :(”

“Fantastic experience in the past but PSA that this place has not been open for some time now. We took the ferry over today and were eager for our favourite chai tea but the shop was boarded up despite Google saying it is open. The locals say it’s been closed for a while. Definitely hope she re-opens one day for more legendary drinks and food!!!”

“Ordered the Tuscan pizza for pickup and we were very pleased with the food! Many reviews appear to be around delivery however we found that they provided timely service in person (roughly 20min on a busy Saturday). We recommend this spot for some delicious pizza. Pickup likely recommended for best results :)”
