“⁣ Earlier in December I was in Duncan running errands and stumbled across Westfalian bakery cafe tucked away in its own little spot. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but inside was a huge assortment of traditional baked goods and Korean-inspired treats! ⁣ By the time I got there (around noon), most of the Korean pastries were already sold out, but out of what I did grab, the carrot cake was the standout; spongy, light, and perfect with my coffee. ⁣ Next time you’re in Duncan, pop in and check them out!”

“Absolutely love Hanks but I’m having a crisis because their Rye sourdough bread, which was simply amazing, was completely different this last Thursday. It’s dry, lacking the sourdough flavour and texture and now has an unpleasantly dominating (for me) caraway seed flavour. Please bring back the original recipe?? 🙏
The whole wheat sourdough remains awesome. Great sandwiches and homey vibe. Hanks is a most welcome addition in Duncan.”
