I am on a bike-packing trip and missed my breakfast this morning, camping on Salt Spring. Had a very nice burger and fries. Fuelled me up for the rest of the day.👍

Kalisi Cafe is a wonderful spot to spend time, with two outside seating areas, a front patio deck and a back garden patio, as well as comfortable inside seating. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food and baking are fabulous. The best chai latte is creamy and flavorful. The chicken salad wrap is delightful, and the turkey, cranberry brie croissant is nice and buttery. The prosciutto, honey and brie croissant is to die for. The croissantwich with brie and cranberry, panini'ed, is outstanding. The brown butter cookie with flaky salt is incredible. Monster cookies, peanut butter cookies, and different madeleines are also available. The matcha lattes are delicious. The kids space in the back is unreal, with a well-thought-out play area for ages 8 and under. This cafe is a great addition to the community and a hidden gem, worth a detour or a stop before a ferry ride.
