Classic small town bakery
We stayed on the island for two days and two nights and we went three times. Food was super fantastic!! Great location with easy parking. Great pastries and coffee. Will go back over and over again.
The sausage roll is out of this work, absolutely amazing 🤤

Embe Bakery is a charming spot with a warm atmosphere that feels like a wonderful old school scratch bakery. It offers a delightful selection of treats, including orange pecan cookies, beautifully decorated chocolate cakes, whole wheat bread, and raisin bread. Their sandwiches, made with heavenly bread, are a must-try, and the donuts and cookies are outstanding. With friendly and knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices, and good coffee, Embe Bakery is a must-visit destination for a quick bite or sweet treat. Many customers appreciate the variety of mouth-watering options and the discount rack for day-old pastries. While there was one report of an overdone muffin, most visitors have had great experiences and cannot recommend the bakery enough. Salt Spring is lucky to have such a gem.
