Every time! The food is always fresh and delicious, very creative and a treat for the senses. Incredible sushi! New specials all the time. Super friendly staff. And those modern cocktails. Yum. We’re lucky to have such an incredible restaurant in a small community.
Hands down, the very best meal out that we’ve had on Salt Spring Island. Every meal was perfectly seasoned and just delicious. Would recommend to everyone! Oh and the desserts were amazing too! Looking forward to returning again and again!
Visited twice during our trip to Salt Spring. Friendly service, with a great west coast vibe. Salmon in gin batter, rock crab sushi and salmon nigiri all outstanding.

Off The Hook - Coastal Cuisine & Sushi Bar is an extraordinary gem on Salt Spring, offering amazing food in a beautiful setting. The restaurant is run as a high-level operation with wonderful staff and owners, providing great food, service, and atmosphere year-round. Diners can expect a cut above fish and chips, not greasy with a light malt batter, and comfort food with a twist like the lobster mac and cheese. They also serve sushi of the highest quality. The Red Thai Currey with Prawns and rice is another great food option. Reservations are highly recommended.
