Meal overall was excellent however, I will say that the smoked trout appetizer was less than spectacular. 
Great restaurant with beautiful views. We go here every visit to Salt Spring Island. There are plenty of Gluten Free options, too. Highly recommend!
Every was fabulous except it took forever to get our food. They explained they had a miscommunication in the kitchen and were nice to comp us dessert. Really great wait staff and restaurant.

Manor Dining is a hidden gem in Salt Spring with incredible food and top-notch service. The setting offers a stunning view of the harbour, with a walk down wooden stairs from the parking lot through trees leading to the restaurant. The ambience is warm and inviting, complemented by beautiful grounds and the quaint door of The Snug. The staff is friendly and attentive, with servers like Jonah and Derek providing excellent recommendations such as Malpeque oysters, duck confit, and Swiss dishes. The menu features delicious options including the Shepherd’s Pie, Caesar’s salad, wild mushroom and spinach cannelloni with pesto cream sauce, and grilled beef tender medallion with Swiss Gruyère potatoes, all cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Vegetarian options like artichoke ravioli are tasty, and other popular desserts include Grand Marnier creme brulee and Swiss carrot cake. The overall experience is memorable, with impeccable service and attention to detail, making it a must-visit spot on Salt Spring Island. Parking can be a bit tricky, but the exceptional food and atmosphere make it well worth a return visit.
