“I have to write this yesterday March 8th went for a nice walk and then to moby dicks for the there famous fish and chips, service was a hit n miss, food was great, my wife ordered a cesar with NO tabasco in a sleeve, waitress left i could tell she seemed a little complexed. She then came back to clarify and voila she received her drink, well took a drink and could tell it was spicy and some people cannot take spices period, she did not want to say anything drank approx a third of it and put it aside, sorta mentioned something to the waitress, but nothing happened, we paid the bill the left and not soon after she started with gag reflex over and over and over to vomiting all over herself, now me on the other hand would have taken her back to the restaurant to show them but anyhow she asked me not to. She is a senior also, another gentleman complained to the waitress about his order that what he ordered was not what he received, Its a shame nowadays to go out and expect the service that one would receive at one time, then oh don't forget they also want minimum 15% tip for this, comon ???!! not very re-assuring!!“

“Stopped by Zapoteca on a Friday night while visiting a friend in White Rock, and it did not disappoint. We walked in without a reservation and were seated right away on the patio.

We ordered three dishes to share family-style, and the standout of the night was hands down the Mexican Street Corn... absolutely amazing flavor. We paired dinner with a couple of spicy margaritas each, and they were mixed to perfection with just the right kick. Great patio atmosphere and solid food; I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.“

Woman’s Bathrooms weren’t well maintained but we would come back just for the great service.“

“They have great fries, good service unless you go when it's really busy, lunch and dinner time, then you have to wait a bit longer for service. Still good service. I wish they offered cod and/or halibut fish even if you have to pay more, rather than whatever white fish they bought for the fish and chips. Their tater sauce was great.“

“Everybody always talks about the big names for fish n chips on the drive. Last year I stopped in with my son and hands down had the greatest fish both of us have ever tasted! We will be back in a few weeks for our annual beach day followed by a stop at FishBoat!“

Around dinner time you will tend to find this place fills up fast and no one leaves dissatisfied. My recommendation is the one thing I always get when I go here, 2 piece halibut dinner with an appetizer. They have an awesome selection of appetizers and they are all very good.“
