“Great Service, Dog Friendly, BEST Fish & Chips!“

“We had lunch here twice in two days! Amazing food, great service, lovely outdoor space even when it was raining a little! Dog friendly too 🥰“

“Deceitful business. Really frustrating. Ordered take out on 10/08 at 6:00 that was supposed to be ready at 6:40 - went to get it at 6:45 and the restaurant said they never got it even though the charge was already pending on my account. A family member went in to get their dinner and pick up mine - turns out they didn’t have their system set up to alert them to online orders. The family member placed their order and replaced ours and paid for both orders (since they said they cancelled mine) waited an entire hour for the orders to be done, got back to our hotel and food was missing. Called them and they didn’t answer. Went back to the restaurant asking for a refund for the missing food and 25% tip back. The woman working the hostess stand was completely rude. Claimed they couldn’t refund just part of the order and that they never charged my card for my original order. She tried to give us cheesecake rather than the food we originally ordered and never got. After arguing a he said they would just refund it. After we already got back to the hotel at 8:00pm I got a text saying my online (original) order was canceled and they did *NOT* charge my card… family member who paid for the second round of orders and I both checked bank statements the following Tuesday 10/11 and they did not have any refund and the nearly $90 charge they supposedly canceled went through and was taken from my account. I called that afternoon asking for a manager (said they wouldn’t be in till Friday) so I left a message about what happened and needing a refund for the original online order… never got a refund or a call back. Stole $90 from me and even more from my family member who didn’t get all their food or a refund. Very deceitful and unprofessional.“

“We met our friends for a visit and dinner. Bay Breeze was just across the road. Our food was served hot and prompt. The dinner I had was delicious and very unusual. Husband had the Steak Dip Sandwich which looked good. Our view out a large window was right at the water and we watched the sunset. The wait staff was helpful (even though the kitchen was OUT of a lot of the menu items!) We were there Monday and the weekend had been very busy.“

“If you're looking for the standard cozy American diner experience I'd highly recommend this place. I got the beer battered prawns and fries and received a reasonably large portion and some absolutely delicious although incredibly greasy food. The service was slightly slow despite the place being near empty and the food was expensive but overall it was a good experience“

“Went into the Packers Bar for a birthday drink for my husband and met Timothy. He is an energetic bartender who let us sample a zero proof whiskey while he rocked and rolled making others drinks and getting their orders placed. It was fun to experience his upbeat happy persona while we enjoyed the rainy day outside the windows.“

“I ordered the king crab. It was cool to the touch when it arrived at our table. I had to ask for butter. It arrived without a butter warmer and was served in a metal ramekin barely warm. Needless to say, everything was cold by the time I was finished. I complained to the manager who it was now company policy to serve crustaceans without a butter warmer. Absolutely ridiculous. The market price for king crab that day was $100. To serve it cool and without a butter warmer is outrageous. To my knowledge Boathouse is the only restaurant that serves crab in our part of the city. Will have to venture farther out for my next crab craving.“

“We went for my husbands bday yesterday Wed. Found a good seat on patio. Service was good. Food took much too long to get served I found. 1 1/2 hours wait. Should be offering free appetizers if one must wait that long to get served. The food was very good. Due to food taking so long, his bday cake was given right after. 9 pm was fast approaching and we felt very rushed to get out. Staff cleaning all up. Never had time to digest , have a break, a coffee l, then cake. This needs to improve before I would return“

“Came here to celebrate me and my boyfriends anniversary. We both have food allergies, but the waitress and manager were very attentive about it and we were very appreciative of it. The enchiladas and beef barbacoa were fantastic, and they were even kind enough to provide us with a complementary dessert for our special occasion. Great restaurant and great people!

I had the one piece Halibut and fries and the fish was huge! I will have the leftovers for lunch.

“I had my first experience with C-Lovers at the North Vancouver location early this week; they were so good that I decided to try out the South Surrey location 4 days later.

Upon arrival, Abby greeted us warmly. My husband and I both got the AYCE F&C. The food came out promptly and it was piping hot. The fish was delicious; the batter was nice and light and each piece was coated delicately.

The service was attentive, the restaurant was clean, and I what I found most exceptional and appreciative was the service staff wiping down all the condiment containers after each table turnover!!

It appears the food is consistent in all the C-Lovers locations but the attentiveness, cleanliness, and service stood out most at this South Surrey location. We highly recommend them to everyone and we’ll definitely be back!“

“My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at your establishment on Friday Sept. 6th. We had a wonderful time and the food was hot when served. The wait staff were very attentive towards us and made sure we were well looked after, which we appreciated. The only drawback, (if you could call it a drawback) was that online you are still advertising a salad bar, which you do not have now. Even with this minor detail we still felt it warranted a 5 rating overall. We will be back. Thank you, Peter and Pat“

“Oh my goodness, this place was amazing.
The portion sizes and quality and taste of food was amazing.
Their "lunch" combos come with enough rice to split easily between 3 people.
We went for Dim Sum with 8 people. We definitely over ordered but we were happy to all have leftovers.
Some of our favorites were the curry rice, the spicy radish cakes, the salt and pepper squid and a veggie and tofu stir fry dish.
We will absolutely be back.“

“What a local gem this place is. First of all the inside is breathtaking and elegant, ideal place for "family" style eating. You order a bunch of things and everyone shares.
