“This is only restaurant right on the beach in this area. What a view!The service was great…they were so friendly!The food was very good…the halibut was the best I’ve had in a long time. The cookies and cream dessert was so good!I met the owners and they want feedback to make this place the best restaurant in this whole region…so don’t be shy.I thought the place was good but to get to the next level they need better tables and chairs. And have the upstairs ready. They just recently opened with new management so it will get better over time…hopefully by the summer. Here are a couple of pictures of the food I liked…sorry I ate some of it before I realized I should take pictures. “My husband and I ordered dinner to go (calamari, fish tacos, and wings) and the only thing that impressed us were the fish tacos, they were big and flavorful. We wanted to order chowder and fish and chips but the to go menu said they were outta stock. I notified the hostess/waitress when we picked up our food and she said the to go menu wasn't accurate which was kind of disappointing.“

“This is an excellent restaurant! Food was amazing, from the Salmon to the Cioppino to the prime rib. Our party couldn't say enough about how good it was! Service was very good too. One downside was a little too noisy but that could have been the big table next to us. We will be back!“

“I have gone to Haven for a handful of celebrations over the years. I discovered this restaurant in 2021 & brought a group of my friends & immediately fell in love!! Their ambience and atmosphere is very trendy and fun. I live in Richmond & anytime I come to Langley; this is our go to spot but my fiance & I gladly make the trip whenever we have a craving for Haven!!For appetizers, I suggest the miso truffle fries as stated above, as well as their sweet potato hummus is delicious! I recently celebrated my engagement with my fiance here and we tried the Szechuan sweet onion chicken wings and they were an absolute hit. They also provided a saucer of water to cleanse our fingers after the wings which was a lovely touch.I’ve tried their spicy peanut noodle bowl (delicious & definitely got the heat), Ohana bowl (which was great & a reliable safe choice), and their brick half chicken! Their brick half chicken is an absolute 10/10, I would recommend it. The chicken was so tender & flavourful, it might’ve been the best chicken I’ve ever had & the gnocchi was delicious as well.Drinkwise, I’ve had their cinnamon toast shaft which is good but their Painkiller is my fiancé’s and my favorite drink on their menu.“

“Interesting place, if you are bored with the usual eating place, this is the place to try. Tons of games to choose from to play. If you like the game you can buy it. 2 hours of tasting, sipping and playing a game we have never seen was a great experience. Build ur own burger and pesto mussels and prawns in spaghetti were the meals, and bumbleberry pie. Very good. Only drawback was our newbie server had to be asked for cutlery and napkins. (I think we each need them to eat properly). For appies, again with main meals and at dessert.“

“Clove is my go-to recommendation for dine in options whenever folks ask me for the best Indian food restaurant to eat at in Surrey. I’ve been here 4 times already and it has held up to the mark each time. The decor is tasteful and elegant. Music and ambience is well crafted and curated. And ofcourse the food is to die for! You can never go wrong with any of their dishes or drinks. Their serving staff are always on point with their recommendations and service. The entire place is truly the result of attention paid to the finer details & an appreciation for the art of dining.Spriha (pretty sure I’ve got that name wrong..sorry) served my table today and my friends and I were absolutely appreciative of her service & Ofcourse the consistency we continue to experience by way of quality & portions. The value for money cannot be overlooked either. A fantastic option for a fantastic price point. Keep up the good work.Some of my fav dishes include the beer dosa and chicken, butter chicken, peshwari naan & Surrey’s mess.Vegetarian options: No dearth of these since it is an Indian restaurant.Parking: It’s connected to a shopping center so free parkingKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with great attention paid to the one’s requirements.“

“I went out to cactus for my birthday with my friends and I had the most wonderful experience!We had the most amazing server Sydney B she was incredibly caring and patient with us. She was also very attentive and was quick to help us. The service was top notch the and I enjoyed my ceasers.“

“Very cool interior finishing and we enjoyed a fantastic meal. Dry ribs for a shared appetizer, I wont share again they were delicious. Tuna poke and ahi tuna dinner and the third choice was braised beef fettuccine. All 3 dishes were excellent. It was a quiet Wednesday night and service was super. An excellent choice for a very nice dinner out. Sorry no pictures this time , my kids would have been all over me........“

“We live in the Granview district of South Surrey, White Rock. There are lots of different restaurants so we like to try different places. We've passed by S+L Kitchen many times and finally decided to go there for lunch. It was a weekday, so I knew it wouldn't be very busy. It was very nice inside, a very retro look and clean. We were greeted right away and seated anywhere we liked since it wasn't busy. Our waitress came quickly and took our drink orders. After bringing our drinks we ordered our food. I had the salmon bowl, and my wife had the lobster bisque. My salmon bowl came with a nice size piece of salmon. It was very tasty, and the veggies were really good. My wife thought her bisque should have had a little more lobster in it. All in all the food and service was very good. Will certainly go there and try dinner.“
