“We had a lovely meal here about two weeks ago, it happened to be wednesday and steak night special with a drink order plus we had the choc torte - divine! Overall it was tasty and we had a nice night. We sat a bit closer to the door and I admit, it was chilly as people came and went. Staff weren't overally friendly or welcoming but not rude either. Food came at a resonalbe time and was delcious, nice tender steak, fries were crisp and like how we make at home, asperagus cooked perfect and a very nice hollandaise sauce. The appy we had was the salmon dip- it was so good, not fishy at all and had a very nice flavour. I would go back and try a few other dishes.“

“Nicki’s Bella Marina is one of our favorite places in all of Whatcom county. It is one of those places where the waitress calls you Hon, there are scraggly fishermen at the bar, and the fish and chips are the best I’ve ever had. You’re always welcomed in like your family, served quickly and with a smile, and you can’t beat the food. It’s also a wonderful place to walk around after you’re stuffed and check out the fishing boats and the yachts. I highly recommend if you’re looking for the best fish and chips!!Parking: Lots of available parking right in front of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Everyone is welcome in this place!“

“My wife and I brought our kids in for dinner and we absolutely loved it! The staff were welcoming and kind, our food was fantastic and the service was quick. Our server went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable, even bringing out some naan right away because our toddler was hangry. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town.Kid-friendliness: Staff made sure our kids had a good time, went out of their way to make sure they had a few bites before our food came out and our even gave our server an unsolicited hug.“

“The Hallibut Fish and Chips was not as good as the Go Fish in Vancouver, Canada, but the atmosphere and service were great. The Schooner docked at Port was amazing to see. The views were excellent. The best part is to have the option to eat inside and avoid seagull bombs. Overall, it was a really great experience.“

“We went back again today and last time I said everything was perfect except for the coleslaw so imagine my delight when I get my food today and they’re using a different coleslaw recipe and it is LOVELY! I was so very happy. Two thumbs way up for the new coleslaw recipe. The fish, chips, and tartar sauce continue to be perfection so this was just the perfect way to round out my combo. “I was the first person to be fired a few months after they opened over 30 years ago! I was one of original few people getting the place ready for the grand opening. At the time it was the only nonsmoking bar in town and that was a great draw. I remember the opening night quite well - before opening time there was a line up the stairs and within minutes the place was jam-packed until closing.The original owner was kind of a jerk (not just because I was fired!). I guess it's on the 3rd owner now. This was the first time I've been back since my inglorious departure about 30 years ago. This visit - 30 years later, my buddies and I had a great time over great brew and and grub (I had the elk burger). The server was great during our about 5 hours there. I would likely go back in fewer than 30 more years when I make my way back to Bham!“
