“First time trying this place out. We were expecting a gastropub style but were pleasantly surprised as it was much more upscale and very nice inside. The service was good, and the food was unique and tasty. They have an excellent selection of ciders, and a lot of the food is locally sourced. We had the 6th Anniversary dinner for two. They give you a good selection to choose from and we had more than enough to eat. The portions were large, and the food was fresh and hot. It's definitely worth trying, thus place out if you haven't.Parking: Parking is either street, or there is a lot around the back of the building next to the post office.“
“I had a wonderful experience at Our Diner in Laurel, Washington. The diner has a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere, with 50's style decor and music. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the service is fast and efficient. The food is amazing, especially the breakfast options. I ordered the pancakes with bacon and eggs, and they were fluffy, crispy, and satisfying. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. They also serve breakfast all day, which is a plus for me.I highly recommend Our Diner to anyone looking for a casual and delicious meal in a charming setting. It's easy to get to from anywhere in Whatcom County, and it's worth the drive. I will definitely be back soon!Dietary restrictions: Good optionsParking: Good size“
“Everything was amazing, from the cod to the hanger steak, and even veggies! I only gave a 4/5 stars because I wish they had just a little more variety on side dishes. Yet everything was cooked and presented beautifully. Our cocktails (the Archangel) looked stunning and tasted amazing. We also loved the atmosphere, as it has a very sexy masculine vibe. Highly recommend for date night or new dining experience.“
“We have been eating Holly's meat pies for many years. They're a great fast dinner when pressed for time, or just lazy. We usually get a dozen at a time which lasts us 4 months or so. (I ration them!) Highly recommend! The three stars for "atmosphere" is just because there is no in-store eating area. You can get a to-go pie heated up, though. Odd that Google only allows me to recommend "All the vegetarian pasties." Everything is good!“
“A Tuesday evening early dinner celebrating my husbands birthday. Service was very nice as was the 3 course early dinner which we both enjoyed very much. We found it to be great value for a well presented meal. Thank you Anthony's Hearthfire Grill for making our meal so special, we will be back!“
“Lovely little diner, definitely the cozy and personal experience I expected :) wonderful to see beautiful local art on the walls. I stand by my 5/5's, just wanted to mention that there is only toast for gluten free people to choose from for alternatives.“
“The owner is one of the most amazing people I know. The food is great, and for a quick bite, they have some excellent appetizers. The drinks are to die for, and he is passionate about his cocktails. It is refreshing to find someone who loves what they do. Also, they are now open on Sundays from 12 to 6pm. Possibly adding a brunch item or items soon. Websites still say closed but will be updated soon. Enjoy the personal atmosphere while it lasts, when people find out their open on Sundays I am sure it will get busy.“
“Our server Keith provided us with excellent service, paying attention to our needs by constantly filling up our water glasses and other beverages. The black cat burger I would recommend if you're looking for a hamburger. Their option of fries and or tempura beans are a great option. The ambience is a very local vibe so please check them out for lunch or happy hour for great value of their food and beverage menu.“
“I am a local real estate agent and often take my clients out to lunch during a day of searching for homes. Juxt has become my top choices of places to stop for lunch with clients. Their menu is delicious, people always love what they order, they have a full bar, and the cheese curds are to die for! It is a lovely local place to introduce people to, and of course I always enjoy my meal as well! It is also not usually slammed during lunch hours so we get top notch service without having to wait! Highly recommend!“
“Great place to find animals and well cooked eggs. I’ve never had a Man ask if my bones were hollow, still hasn’t occurred, I’m not against it but it might make me consider his intentions. That’s the kind of service that Nelson’s has. Good and Medium hot. Since 1517. Like reformation era vibes in there. Super sweet.Parking: 2 spots right up front. They are some old con operated meters that don’t work. Pretty sure they were in cool hand Luke, not actually in the movie but we’re back ups incase paul messed up a take or something. Idk could be made up, heard some birds discussing it when I interrupted their meeting, they weren’t to pleased. Tweet!Kid-friendliness: They love kids, almost too much.Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t know what wheel chairs are but they could probably work“
“Went here with my wife and two boys and had a great experience. It is a super family friendly breakfast place with excellent service. Will definitely return.Dietary restrictions: They had dairy alternatives for coffee which was appreciated.Kid-friendliness: Lots of toys in the waiting area. My kids were in no rush to leave!“
“I was looking for something close to my hotel and this was very close. Turned out to be a really good place. The bartender was friendly and helpful. My sandwich was delicious and large. Enough taps they had a beer I liked. Great service. The only downside is not a lot of parking.Parking: Not many spots. I went behind and down two buildings to a closed cafe and parked.“
“This is a great little bar with wooden booths and nice dim lighting. I came on a Friday at dinner time for the burgers and it was crowded, but I managed to snag a booth as another party left. Their burgers are best described as greasy smash burgers on the small side. If you have an average American appetite, get two for dinner. They taste pretty good. The fries were sadly soggy though. Order at the bar and they call your name when it's done. The kitchen cranked mine out pretty fast.“
“I think this is the best food option at the mall with a nice selection of fresh ingredients that you can customize as you like and the friendliest service.Vegetarian options: You can choose your own veggies from a nice variety, with protein from tofu, peanuts or eggs. Or there's a veggie option.Kid-friendliness: Kids can choose just what they want.“
“One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood! Good food, good service & always comes out quick no matter if it’s 4pm or 10pm! It’s one of the few places in bham that I feel like a “local”. I appreciate the dairy free cheese options too!Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available“
“All of their food is delicious and well made. Most popular is their fish and chips with great portion sizes. One order comes with two big cod pieces. They also have great burgers and ribs and fried pickles, just to name a few more. Waterfront view of the harbor and great bar and / or beer selection. Highly reccomend to anyone.“
“I was the first person to be fired a few months after they opened over 30 years ago! I was one of original few people getting the place ready for the grand opening. At the time it was the only nonsmoking bar in town and that was a great draw. I remember the opening night quite well - before opening time there was a line up the stairs and within minutes the place was jam-packed until closing. The original owner was kind of a jerk (not just because I was fired!). I guess it's on the 3rd owner now. This was the first time I've been back since my inglorious departure about 30 years ago. This visit - 30 years later, my buddies and I had a great time over great brew and and grub (I had the elk burger). The server was great during our about 5 hours there. I would likely go back in fewer than 30 more years when I make my way back to Bham!“
“Greene's Corner is the real deal. The focus is on delicious food & drink served with enthusiasm and high availability. (The staff has to sleep sometime!) Their clam chowder is authentic just like Nana used to make. I wish I lived in B'ham so I could feast there more often and take in some of their music programs. The 4 star atmosphere is because they've opted for cozy informal and easy-to-clean reminiscent of college coffee shops rather than white table cloths and carpeted floors. But hey, it's a bistro. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Kid-friendliness: We didn't bring any offspring with us but several other customers did and guess what, they weren't a distraction! There's enough space and distractions to keep the little rug rats out of our mealtime.“
“A visit to Brandywine Kitchen in Bellingham became an unforgettable experience with my boisterous uncle-in-law in tow. Amidst his lively stories and hearty laughter, we ordered the French dip. It was a culinary delight, perfectly cooked with flavors that mingled splendidly. The warm, inviting atmosphere of Brandywine Kitchen coupled with their delicious fare made for a delightful outing, turning a simple meal into a cherished memory.“
“Excellent service. Love the cocktails. Amazing Caesar, beets, hangar steak. Really great architectural details. Always consistent. My one and only comment would be to consider serving spoons or have some other sharing solution - we always get multiple dishes and it's awkward with just a knife and fork.“
“Fabulous place. Came here in the evening and had Dan as our server. Could not ask for a better server. Seriously. He’s the best. We had the blue cheese dip w/chips (10/10) as a starter and it was so tasty. Then we had the BLT salad (9/10) and hot stuffed dates (9/10). I wish the non-date ingredients were increased a bit so we could taste them more but overall very flavorful. Excellent quality and decent prices. The drinks were fantastic as well. I had a Dark Matter (10/10) and my partner had a nonalcoholic negroni (9/10). Very dynamic, both a good blend of bitter and sweet without being too sweet. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Have some GF options but they do warn about cross-contamination.“
“Just love The Fork at Agate Bay. I get the Pork Belly Benedict for brunch whenever I come here, and it is the absolute best. Beautiful location, fantastic service. Best place for brunch in Whatcom County.... and I am a person who has enjoyed his share of brunches around these parts.“
“B-Town is my absolute favorite bar in Bellingham, I work at a resort in Blaine and I always recommend Btown to all of our guests who are experiencing bellingham for the first time. Olivia is such a breath of fresh air behind the bar, very welcoming and personable. Gillian as well is a fabulous server, she has served me many times on the patio. I had the pleasure of having her as my server on thanksgiving and Olivia on Christmas which was such a treat. My favorite thing on the menu is the peanut salad, but everything I’ve had on the menu is 5 stars. You guys are doing it right!!“
“Dinner and drinks for six. We were warned at the time of ordering that there would be a wait. we ordered some tater tots, french fries and onion rings, and they were delivered almost immediately and were quite good. Packed and the bartender and weight staff did a good job taking care of us. When our food was delivered, it was better and quicker than expected. These ratings are based on overall value and this is a place that hasn’t yet got the memo that there’s been crazy inflation, so you can jack up your prices; nice to find reasonable prices.I will say the night we were there it was cold, and we all kept our coats on as it was about 10° outside and not much warmer inside!“
“This is an old school poker room with a bar and small restaurant attached. Nothing fancy but definitely a local hang out and a great staff. The bar has good selection of drinks and you can play Pull Tabs. Multiple TV's to watch NFL Sunday ticket and watch all the games. We go on Sunday mornings to watch football and have breakfast. OK to take kids if you stay in the restaurant area.“
“Came in from Canada the food is really good taste is not the normal pub food but home cooked food the bartender/ server Hana was mazing and I thought it was super cool thebowner was actually working I would come again ? recommend if you are out this way. The shuffle board table is “
“Staff were amazing! We didn’t realize it was St. Patrick’s and there were amazing Irish dancers. Atmosphere was grea. Food was not too salty except chicken wings. Lamb burger, mussels and meatloaf were excellent. In fact we were in Seattle for 2 days and we went there for dinner two days in a row. Thank you!“
“Needed a place to stop on our way back to Tacoma. Found this cute little sandwich place , As we walked in we got greeted with this young man, he was very friendly asking if we had any questions and if we’ve ever been in before, which we had not! Gave us recommendations and told us what was good! Which if y’all haven’t tried the fat cow or the fat maverick! So good!!! We ordered our food and waited what felt like not even 10 minutes and our food was out to the table! Which at a place like this I was expecting to have to go up and get it! Nope another man brought it out to the table! As it was being cooked and finished it came out! We finished up and as we were walking out the same gentleman (General manager) that brought out our food stopped us and asked how everything was! Which we then replied it was so delicious ? we got to talking and then figured out he was the GM he gave us a couple coupons and told us to come back soon! Very very friendly staff!! This three man crew definitely deserves this five star review! We will definitely be making our 2 1/2 hour drive out again soon! (3•8 11pm)“
“One of the greatest Mom-and-pop joints i’ve ever been to!! I went with my brother around the holidays just to grab a quick bite and really surprised me with how good the food was. I got a station burger with a shake and fries and the burger is small (only a 1/6 lb patty) but packed one heck of a flavor. Their station sauce was real good and the shake was thick and topped with plentiful of whipped cream. The environment was a 70’s style truck stop and jazz music played throughout the joint. My experience was just wonderful!!! 10/10 would highly recommend.“
“If you enjoy delicious food 9 restaurant delivers perfection! You will not be disappointed with the exceptional service, quality and brilliance served here! I highly recommend this restaurant!! I would like to send 9 restaurant my gratitude and appreciation, for hiring incredible chefs! Outstanding!!!“
“Great little local diner downtown. I enjoyed my breakfast overall & felt like it was fairly priced. I did stand at the counter for a while before being acknowledged & I did not feel like they checked up on you once you received your food. I will give them another try, based off how good the pancake was though!“
“We've been wanting to try this place out for over a year now and it seems like we always came here on Mondays when it's closed. Went out on a Sunday afternoon and the place wasn't too busy and the service was prompt and the food was prompt an excellent. Will definitely come back here to try more dishes but so far the seafood puttanesca and cheddar burger as well as the mushroom Swiss burger were excellent. Their garlic fries and sweet potato fries are really good. Try the cream brulee! Definitely more on the menu to look forward to and try out for the next few visits.“
“Austin I cannot brag on enough! He is absolutely adore an amazing not only dissipate attention to his customers. But he is so attentive to everyone’s needs even if it’s just him with a bar full and a restaurant full of people is absolutely amazing. I recommend you come here as for Austin.! ?❤️“
“Food was goodBar server was fantasticShe (name started with J) (I called her Courtney?) was simply fantasticVery good at this job, took great care of us and had a few laughsBreakfast was also pretty good, Tuesday breakfast server was fantastic, Wednesday breakfast server was there...but other 2 gals made up for her lack of service with exceptional serviceCourtney aka (don't remember) had a guy helping her on TuesdayHe was also good serverRooms were perfectBeds amazingClean as a whistleCheck in on Monday night was perfect Tony lil gal with dark hair...she busted us thru the check process very quickly and gave us a complete run down of hotel and servicesLike she knew we were going on 15 hrs of work...Check out was also a positive experienceFunnySpent a week at a Sheraton in WaikikiThis place in Bellingham had better food, way better service from staff and hands down 100% nice rooms and bedsThank you all so much“
“This is the epitome of what a real burger restaurant should be. Every burger option is amazing, multiple fries options, milkshakes, and beer. A variety of Local beer sold in cans with ice cold cups. Perfect amount of food and friendly/kind service.Just a stellar burger joint for those who crave a burger craving that fastfood can't nearly satisfy.“
“Finding good, I mean really good home-cooked style breakfast in BHAM can be challenging. Horseshoe Cafe knocks it out of the park! We tried the biscuits and gravy, and chicken fried chicken. Both were delicious, fresh, and seasoned just right! If you're familiar with waffle house, I'll add that the hash browns were that style and flavor, the way they should be! The mimosa flight and cowboy coffee were a great start to out daily adventures! Get out and support local!“
“So many great things to say! First, FOOD! Is there any way to give 20 stars??? Seriously! Had chicken fried chicken and the sausage gravy was amazing beyond belief! Most places this gravy is mediocre at best, here is amazing. Only one other restaurant I've been to is remotely close, a mom and pop place in Tacoma 12 years ago. Rest of plate was good, gravy made it a star! The wait staff is really pleasant and great to deal with, very happy with the whole experience. A bit of a downer is the homeless population, not restaurants fault yet it worth noting, talk for another day. Once inside feels like transported to a different time period. Back in the day there was a brothel upstairs, not anymore of course. Place is steeped in history and nostalgia. There's a bar on one half with a pool table at one end and old style paintings in a few places. I don't want to spoil it here, there is a story behind some of the wall paintings, just ask and they'll likely share. An extremely nice place to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Can order anything from menu no matter time of day, and it all looked great! This is among one of my favorite restaurants right now, I just hope the city can clean things up... Fantastic work and many thanks to the crew here!“
“This restaurant was so nice ?. It was clean and quiet enough to hold a conversation. The food was delicious and served hot. I would recommend this place for a good meal.Parking: There was plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is wheelchair accessible.“
“First time here a couple weeks back food was good, service could have been better but being a server myself I seen how busy it was on this Tuesday and the girl whom I which I remembered her name, was given a pretty large section to serve, will be back for the lime chicken special for two.“
“Swung by this joint for the first time during our Christmas break getaway with the wife and kiddos. Went for the BLT and wife got the chipotle black bean burger. Gotta say, we were both pretty impressed with the grub! Our kids both got fish and chips - it was so tasty that I had to snag a few fries for myself. Our server Alexander was super friendly and great with the kiddos. He let us know that Cyrus was the mastermind behind our burgers and he knocked it out of the park! Definitely bookmarking this spot for our next trip to Bellingham.“
“Ahhhh my partner and I love to come here. We always get the poutine. I ordered the steak for the first time since I wanted to try something new on the menu and I was not disappointed. Oysters are yummy. Everything they make is just delicious. Brussel Sprouts are a go to. The cocktails are yummy even though I do wish they would bring back that ginger one they used to have. That was my favorite.Staff is always kind, atmosphere is comfortable and easy on the eyes, even the chattering of locals is nice and I've engaged in many fun conversations here. Quaint little spot to have dinner and drinks.“
