Stopped here on a whim on the way back from Canada, I couldn't have chosen a better place to stop off. The pizza was truly amazing and I'm sure the whole menu is worth a try.
Friendly neighborhood beer and wine gathering place with a breakfast and lunch/dinner kitchen.My toasted cheese was a classic, buttery and crisp with fresh pesto and tasty gooey and stretchy cheese inside. The accompanying tomato soup was fresh and tasty as well.Comfortable and a good place to meet/chat.

Greene's Corner is the real deal. The focus is on delicious food & drink served with enthusiasm and high availability. (The staff has to sleep sometime!) Their clam chowder is authentic just like Nana used to make. I wish I lived in B'ham so I could feast there more often and take in some of their music programs.The 4 star atmosphere is because they've opted for cozy informal and easy-to-clean reminiscent of college coffee shops rather than white table cloths and carpeted...read full review
