“Went there for Valentine's Day with my wife which has become something of a tradition. Had a great table where we could watch the steaks being cooked. As usual the service was excellent and the food is still some of the best in Whatcom County. Always a pleasure to go there and I highly recommend this place.“
“I have had three flavors now twice. The first time i had the nutter butter french toast which was amazing! Very filling, sweet but not too sweet, and fluffy.Last night i had the pistachio pesto pasta with chicken.....oh my word was it good! Big portion and came with garlic bread. Traveled well....about 15 minute drive. Will be eating here again and would definitely order this dish again. Great option for the whole family as they offer mexican, asian, american, and Italian cuisine. There is something on the menu for everyone!“
“Dinner last evening (10/20/23) was the very best Filet Mignon we’ve ever had…so tender and tasty atop a bed of mashed potatoes. The Pesto Salmon was outstanding as was the Salmon Dinner. Great friendly staff including manager Brooke who took the time to chat with us re the history of the building. Highly recommend! We don’t eat out a lot but this is one place we will be back to!“
“Our server was very polite and friendly. Our food was delicious and well presented. We took our time eating and didn't feel rushed. We will return to Dennys soon.Wheelchair accessibility: I stayed at the adjoining hotel and found it very difficult to open the door that was connecting the hotel to the restaurant. I had to maneuver my walker through the door. A button needs to be installed that will open the door automatically.“
“Red Robin restaurant is a real gem! Their burgers are simply mouthwatering, especially the spicy Scorpion burger that adds a fiery kick to every bite. And let's not forget about the bottomless fries – they're a dream come true for fry lovers like me!But the deliciousness doesn't stop there. Their desserts are to die for, particularly the gooey lava chocolate brownie paired with creamy ice cream. It's the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.I love the vintage and antique decor of the restaurant, especially the cool plane dangling from the ceiling – it adds such a unique touch to the ambiance. The service at Red Robin is always top-notch – friendly, efficient, and attentive. Plus, with ample free parking available, getting there is a breeze. And the best part? It's usually not too crowded, even on weekends, so you can enjoy your meal in peace. Red Robin is definitely one of my go-to spots for a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience!“
“I had a wonderful experience at Our Diner in Laurel, Washington. The diner has a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere, with 50's style decor and music. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the service is fast and efficient. The food is amazing, especially the breakfast options. I ordered the pancakes with bacon and eggs, and they were fluffy, crispy, and satisfying. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. They also serve breakfast all day, which is a plus for me.I highly recommend Our Diner to anyone looking for a casual and delicious meal in a charming setting. It's easy to get to from anywhere in Whatcom County, and it's worth the drive. I will definitely be back soon!Dietary restrictions: Good optionsParking: Good size“
“Super friendly staff and delicious Pasties. Even when they don't have the flavor you're looking for in the heated display, they can heat one up in a couple of minutes. I love that they are using local ingredients. The shop sits aside their production area, so you can see how these delightful pasties are made.“
“The Rusty Wagon is an absolute 5 star restaurant! Not once have I been disappointed. EVERYTHING is good. The prices are extremely competitive. Other restaurants have raised their prices for burgers, for example, much higher than the wagon. Sister restaurant to Rustlers this is also a must come and see for yourself. The cheapest burger at other places (though I'm sure is deserved do to prices everywhere on the up) matches the most expensive burger at the wagon as of this post 11/25/2023. Besides money, if it wasn't a factor at all, Rusty Wagon is an absolute MUST try and see for yourself type of thing. The ranch burger is my favorite, though if someone bought me something else on the menu I wouldn't be disappointed in the least. Excellent choice at the salad bar as well. Drinks are exectly what you order. No less. Feel free to see for yourself. If you haven't been here, you'll love it!Parking: There's lots of spaces but it's a pretty popular spot so it can fill up fast!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is what you'd expect. You can also make special requests if you don't see something in that particular menu that you crave. Also the portions look like they'd be perfectly adequate for an adult.“
“I was looking for something close to my hotel and this was very close. Turned out to be a really good place. The bartender was friendly and helpful. My sandwich was delicious and large. Enough taps they had a beer I liked. Great service. The only downside is not a lot of parking.Parking: Not many spots. I went behind and down two buildings to a closed cafe and parked.“
“I didn't know this gem of a place existed until a friend of mine told me it burned down and was redone. You can smoke outside on the patio and the food is amazing. Please noone go here. I like my great Bars to be empty. Seriously it's a hidden Gem in Abby. 9 “
“The food was alright. It was a luncheon, so the menu was set. The option was a bit sparse and lacked much flavor or flare. Just a cup of soup with peas and sausage bits (like what you get on pizza), a small square biscuit with some chicken salad on it and some cabbage slaw. I was surprised. I'd heard good things about the menu. Maybe I missed out this visit. The service and atmosphere were fine, typical for a local cafe.“
“Cozy and comfort food comes to mind when I think of Rustlers. Everything is fresh, made to order wi5h excellent flavors. Portions are very generous and pricing is reasonable. Try the chicken fried steak and eggs or the biscuit and gravy! Yum!“
“The food service was quick and had great flavor. The server was friendly and prompt and always asked if we wanted a refill before the was empty. Usually the atmosphere is good and you are able to have a conversation quietly but this visit the restaurant was full and quite loud for usDietary restrictions: There was an item I wanted, but it came with a corn salsa. They accommodated when asked by leaving the salsa off“
“It was a heavenly experience. The food was absolutely delicious. The soup (corn chowder) was divine! They have a sign saying "best soup in town" and I honestly think they are. The soup felt like a warm hug to my stomach. It brought me back to a home I never knew. I've never had food make me feel this way. I can't recommend this place enough. It was an absolute gem. Don't judge it by its appearance because at first glance you might be like me and not think much of it. But, BOY, is it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! The food will have you saying, "Bless the hands that made it!" even if you don't believe in God. It's that good. I could eat that soup ALL day! I also had the Dutch treat burger with fries and they were great too! But that soup, though... THAT SOUP!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️“
“This is an old school poker room with a bar and small restaurant attached. Nothing fancy but definitely a local hang out and a great staff. The bar has good selection of drinks and you can play Pull Tabs. Multiple TV's to watch NFL Sunday ticket and watch all the games. We go on Sunday mornings to watch football and have breakfast. OK to take kids if you stay in the restaurant area.“
“The food was really good, I got pasta salad, which was beautiful, flavorful, and delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the veggies were nice and crisp. We also got the Maui Flatbread pizza. It was super good, and the coconut cheese was The service got 1 star, we were sitting outside, the waitress was not even slightly attentive, and the wait for anything was pretty excessive. The food came out staggered. Some people had their meal for 10 minutes before others arrived, which was a bit awkward.Atmosphere is scored neutral because we ate outside, the atmosphere inside I can't really comment on.“
“Cool atmosphere, friendly service! I ordered the full size poutine, and it was really good. They made my fries to order which was great. Really good value for cost, portion, and quality. Would definitely go again if I'm hankering for a poutine!“
“The smash burger was absolutely amazing. I’ve rarely had a burger this good. The fish and chips portion were a little underwhelming but the fish itself was very good and tasty.Good beer list. Cesar salad was great. Service was great. We came hungry and left happy and full. And again, OMG that smash burger… wow.“
“Crossroads is a local iconic casual eatery. It has been operating at the same site since I can remember, at least 35 plus years. That says something for sure, these are extremely tough times for restaurants, yet Crossroads continues to be a popular spot. Its not fine dining or a trendy hipster hangout, it is decent food at a reasonable price with better that average service. The staff are relaxed and friendly, Paul the owner is always happy to talk and make you feel welcome. Good job Crossroads, some things do not need to change!“
“My family meets for breakfast here about twice a month and we love it! The staff is really friendly and are very good. We usually order 4 meals that the 5 of us share because the portions are very generous AND taste great. Refills are FREE and they don't try to rush you when your meal is done.“
