“If you love great tasting food, dogs and even parrots, along with super friendly staff, then Sammy J's Bar & Grill in Maple Ridge is the place to go to. We are animal lovers and just realized that their patio dog friendly. The parrot was extra and doesn't fly but is very friendly. We always refer our friends to Sammy J's.“

“Weekday lunch specials are great in quality and value! They essentially knock off $2 to $3 depending on the special that you get, and it's different everyday which keeps things interesting! We recently tried their baked chicken penne (in curry sauce) which was delicious! Their Neptune burger was tasty as well! Lastly, their service has been consistently good!

Parking: Plenty of parking spaces during lunch time on weekdays. It can get very busy on weekends.“

“Sat at a table for more than 30 minutes with 0 service. I walked up to the bar and inform the 3 ladies who were doing nothing that I have been waiting and they didn't seem to care. the service that staff before covid were head and shoulders above what the new staff could ever do.“

“Food is great when made right! Maybe need more staff to make sure things are made correctly. Usually question the order when picking up and catch it. Today it was made wrong so they re made it which corrected the initial mistake but added beans which I don’t eat. Needless to say I didn’t know till I got home and ended up making something at home for dinner. Highly recommend more staff during peak times to you can focus on quality.“

“A few things I know:
I hate the CCP and MSG - they both give me a headache. I have stayed away from Chinese food because of the latter. MSG just tends to give me a headache and I'm super sensitive to it. Here there's none, just as advertised. The quality of food here compared to Dragon Village is night and day - the food is so much better at Ken's. For instance, Sweet and Sour Pork (with pineapple) was great and the Wonton Soup was made with real stock.
The interior of the restaurant has been updated as well since it was bought. A lot of effort has gone into this establishment's atmopshere, kind service and excellent food. Ken's deserves a 6/5.

“We come on a Monday night when appies were half off. I counted three other customers there. They were training a new server and it was hard to hear her over the music; which wasn’t too loud.
It took a while for our food to come but it was good. We had the beehive pizza which is basically honey on pepperoni. We ordered it for the novelty of it and it was good but nothing special. The wings were perfectly cooked; crisp and juicy. There wasn’t enough sauce in my opinion but I enjoyed dipping it in the crispy Brussels sprout sauce. It was the BEST part of the meal and I’m obsessed with it. I’ll come back for that alone.
We also ordered the truffle tator tots and it was also really enjoyable.
We also had the caeser and Lucky lager. Both really good. An overall delicious experience“

“Ihop is Canada's restaurant chain specializing in pancakes and American diners/breakfast for the community. Today, the family drives further down to Langley and Abbotsford to buy fresh fruits (blueberries, cherries etc). It's our first time visiting Ihop, Langley for a satisfying delicious breakfast. This restaurant did not fail us with our expectation of Ihops excellent standard. We got the Bacon Temptation omelette, Rise N' Shine breakfast, the ever-craveable buttermilk pancakes and refreshing fresh fruits. Ihop has kept the good price of the best food quality my family loves. Service is excellent and efficient. Servers frequently check on us. The dining area is spacious, ambiance is great. Free parking space is spacious.

“After an amazing BINI concert, we were on the hunt for a late-night dinner spot where we could relax and stay a bit longer. We decided to try Original Joe’s. The A.C.E. Burger with coleslaw and French fries was tasty and generously portioned at $21—I couldn’t even finish the sides! The Chipotle Chicken Quesadillas were decent, also priced at $21. The Amaretto, though not as good as I’ve had before, was finished off by my husband ($8.25). We also enjoyed Dad’s Rootbeer ($4) and Patio Joe ($11.25), both were delicious.

Original Joe’s is a great place to hang out, whether you're with family, friends, or even colleagues. The food is good, and you can unwind and play some games. Just keep in mind that while the servers are friendly, the service can be a bit slow, especially considering the place wasn’t too busy even at almost midnight.“

“This place is amazing!!! They turn into a nightclub on weekends. I went on a Friday night for the After Dark Halloween Party, and I had an absolute blast. The servers were great, and the DJ was playing epic tunes! I danced the night away. I'm so excited to have my birthday party here!!! I also love all the artwork on the walls/ceiling, AND they have a little arcade section, too, which is awesome!“

“Food is as always solid and earns its reputation, especially for its birthday grand slam. Still love those peanut butter and raspberry jam packets to spread on toast lol.

Service can be hit and miss, usually late in not only getting out the menus to you but taking your order. What a struggle just to get their attention. Strange they do notice you more often as soon as you sit down lol as they constantly ask for feedback and top up your water.

Clean washrooms.

Not a fan of their parking arrangement especially late night or when it’s pouring. You still need to walk around if you park at parkade unless that elevator door is locked after a certain time.“

Unlimited coffee refills, friendly staff, sometimes my friend come on a weekday and they let us play chess literally from 1030am to 3pm without even hinting that we should pay - in fact my friend got a bit anxious once they we were taking up the table for too long and they assured him that the restaurant was meant to be enjoyed and then went and got him more coffee“

“I go every year like clockwork for my free Red Robin Royalty birthday burger. This year, I discovered that they have macaroni and cheese as one of the bottomless sides
(with a $3 upcharge, but it's worth it).
This was the best mac and cheese I've ever tasted. Most restaurants seem to have macaroni in a bland white sauce, with some cheese baked on top. This is macaroni in a very cheesy cheese sauce with more cheese baked on top. The burger was good, as they always are. Consistency is nice. But that macaroni and cheese was incredible.“

“It's a great idea to have an old fashioned diner in this quint little town. My wife ordered a tuna sandwich with salad, I had a club house sandwich. Both are acceptable and Ok. However, I like the milkshake the most. That's a big seller for them. Parking is a bit challenge for there are always plenty visitors in town.“
