“Last time I went to the one on Davie st. in Vancouver I was so disappointed. This morning my husband convinced me to go there again, this time it was really good. our server May was freaking amazing and keep tabs on everyone in her section, our food came quickly and the overall experience this time was very pleasant! Ask to be in May's section when u go here!“

“Kapow Burger is a fun, quirky spot with a small seating area inside and a roadside patio that gives it a lively, casual vibe. They have games you can bring to your table, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends while you eat. It’s self-service, but the staff were super quick and really friendly.

We both ordered the Double Kapow and the burger itself was really good. My only small complaint was that the buns were cold..a warm bun would’ve taken it from great to top-notch.

It’s definitely a loud, busy place on a Saturday night, but that just adds to the energetic atmosphere. A solid spot if you’re looking for a fun, no-frills burger night. 🍔“

“If you are in Vancouver and want an amazing dining experience, we highly recommend Lift Bar and Grill. We dined here for supper on June 3, 2023, and absolutely loved the atmosphere as well as the food! Waterfront dining (they provide indoor/outdoor and roof top dining), with the water and mountain views was spectacular as we watched the sunset on the water. Our server Sean was very pleasant and courteous and made our time there very enjoyable. We started with Caesars and Soughdough Baguette, and then shared a Scallop & Prawns Linguine (we have smaller appetites). Both were absolutely Amazing dishes! The surprise birthday dessert was very much appreciated and delicious! We would say the cost is average for Vancouver restaurant dining. This is not a fast food restaurant, but chef prepared and is reflected in the presentation and taste! We will be back when we visit again!“

“Very good restaurant. I was able to place my order and receive my meal in good timing while the restaurant was completely full from World Cup celebrations. The restaurant is very clean and pretty to look at, while the food is delicious and nice and hot.“

“We just walked over for dinner after the Raptors game at Roger's Arena. This is one of my favorite spot of Tap & Barrel. Last time we sat outside at the ground level patio which is very nice. This time the hostess brought us upstairs and the dining area was surprising nice too as it has outdoor balcony. Food was as good as always and our waitress is fabulous. Hopefully next time we have a chance to sit at the 2nd floor balcony.“

“It's important to remember when visiting Quizine that this is an educational / learning environment for VCC students. I've never had a bad meal from Quizine and I find the prices super reasonable considering what you get. Decent selection of items (although I have to admit that my dietary restrictions are minimal so I can't speak on that front). First time I've been here in 50 years and it will not be the last. The sole waitress was also the hostess, cashier, busser, and coffee refiller. The owner cooked, served and cashier. With restaurants dropping like flies in Vancouver due to high cost and labour shortage, it's amazing to see how efficiently this old school diner is run to keep labour cost and menu prices down.“

“Great smash burgers, solid waffle fries and very decent beer on tap. The air was thick with grill smoke otherwise I'd give the atmosphere a higher rating. We had fun with the photo booth. We will def return (at least for take-away) in the next 4 weeks. At peak times expect a wait to order at the counter, a wait to be seated and a wait for your food because the place is small and popular.“

“I went there to watch the World Cup today, and I had a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, and both the beer and the food were excellent. The Beef Ragu was especially memorable, it was so delicious that I'd happily come back just for that. I also really enjoyed the dark beer. As a sports pub, it had a great atmosphere, and watching the game was comfortable with excellent views of the screens. I'll definitely be back!“

They have a good selection of Beer.. House Wine and basic cocktails/High balls ... they are not a cocktail Bar... Bonus... they are open every night until 4:00 am...so if you want to party Late or come after concerts/Movies/Sporting events...whatever.....this is your #1 venue... The pub is smaller than other venues and does fill up...especially on weekends...there maybe a short wait to sit at the Bar...I highly recommend to experience 1017..“

“I’m currently sitting at the bar, the beer on tap was good, and the bar service was good. I ordered a Bison Burger which was just OK, the patty was dry, and the fixings were just OK. The French fries SUCKED, it felt like I got the dregs of the Mckains bag, small and very underwhelming. When I asked the bartender if he wanted any feedback, he said “I didn’t cook it”. I informed him, that I was aware he didn’t cook it. When I asked the bartender’s if he passed my comments onto the kitchen he said “No”. I paid my bill and let him know through the mechanism of tipping, all was just OK. T - to I - insure P - proper S - service Great atmosphere.“

“We Visited today again, staff was busy complaining about how long they have left in their shift. Polishing cutlery and throwing it in a bin very loudly right next to us while we watched a game, we had to ask them to stop. Staff were talking very loudly in right beside me about missing payments, yelling in my ear while I tried to enjoy my meal. The beer was flat, and it was not even busy. Only the bar section had guests. Just a bad day I guess....“
