“Last time I went to the one on Davie st. in Vancouver I was so disappointed. This morning my husband convinced me to go there again, this time it was really good. our server May was freaking amazing and keep tabs on everyone in her section, our food came quickly and the overall experience this time was very pleasant! Ask to be in May's section when u go here!“

The private dining space was elegant, welcoming, and the perfect setting for our families and friends to celebrate together. The service was exceptional throughout the evening. Every member of the staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making our event special.

The food was outstanding, beautifully presented, and consistently delicious. Our guests continue to compliment both the menu and the overall experience. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable, creating a memorable evening for everyone.

“Kapow Burger is a fun, quirky spot with a small seating area inside and a roadside patio that gives it a lively, casual vibe. They have games you can bring to your table, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends while you eat. It’s self-service, but the staff were super quick and really friendly.

We both ordered the Double Kapow and the burger itself was really good. My only small complaint was that the buns were cold..a warm bun would’ve taken it from great to top-notch.

It’s definitely a loud, busy place on a Saturday night, but that just adds to the energetic atmosphere. A solid spot if you’re looking for a fun, no-frills burger night. 🍔“

“If you are in Vancouver and want an amazing dining experience, we highly recommend Lift Bar and Grill. We dined here for supper on June 3, 2023, and absolutely loved the atmosphere as well as the food! Waterfront dining (they provide indoor/outdoor and roof top dining), with the water and mountain views was spectacular as we watched the sunset on the water. Our server Sean was very pleasant and courteous and made our time there very enjoyable. We started with Caesars and Soughdough Baguette, and then shared a Scallop & Prawns Linguine (we have smaller appetites). Both were absolutely Amazing dishes! The surprise birthday dessert was very much appreciated and delicious! We would say the cost is average for Vancouver restaurant dining. This is not a fast food restaurant, but chef prepared and is reflected in the presentation and taste! We will be back when we visit again!“

“The homemade wonton noodle soup here is absolutely amazing. I order it every single time I visit — it’s that good. The wontons are fresh, the broth is flavorful, and the noodles have the perfect texture.
The owner is also incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. A cozy spot with great food and great people.“

“Nothing but the sweetest staff. Mama and I asked a lot of questions but they were right there to answer. The food was so quick but in a fresh and seasoned way, not in a hurried way. I wish I took pictures. I definitely will next time. My mama is also super specific about where she sits, and again they were super accommodating. “It's important to remember when visiting Quizine that this is an educational / learning environment for VCC students. I've never had a bad meal from Quizine and I find the prices super reasonable considering what you get. Decent selection of items (although I have to admit that my dietary restrictions are minimal so I can't speak on that front). It can be a little slow when it's busy but, again, that's to be expected.“

First time I've been here in 50 years and it will not be the last. The sole waitress was also the hostess, cashier, busser, and coffee refiller. The owner cooked, served and cashier. With restaurants dropping like flies in Vancouver due to high cost and labour shortage, it's amazing to see how efficiently this old school diner is run to keep labour cost and menu prices down.“

“I am not a smash burger person but I liked this one. I would definitely eat this burger again but there are things that I didn't like. It took almost 30 minutes to get the burger after we sat to our table and it wasn't crowded. As everyone mentions, the smoke, the smell and the vents are also no-no. I think it's best to order the burger 10-15 minutes before getting there and pick it up to eat somewhere else.“

“Its a cute small mom & pop type of local restaurant in south Vancouver, the atmosphere is retro type and its in a retro 90s 80s building , has parking lot ,and nearby to bus stops. Its got verity including vegetarian, its more then a breakfast place they also got burgers 🍔, 🍲 soups ,fish and Chips 🍟. Indoor seating with tables chairs and booths, little bit outside seating, staff here are good“

“I went there to watch the World Cup today, and I had a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, and both the beer and the food were excellent. The Beef Ragu was especially memorable, it was so delicious that I'd happily come back just for that. I also really enjoyed the dark beer. As a sports pub, it had a great atmosphere, and watching the game was comfortable with excellent views of the screens. I'll definitely be back!“

It’s usually really busy at happy hour/dinner so we went there for lunch and it was quiet . The service was ok as the guy was nice but was working alone and never came to check on us/make any eye contact even though we were seated across from the bar .“

The French fries SUCKED, it felt like I got the dregs of the Mckains bag, small and very underwhelming. When I asked the bartender if he wanted any feedback, he said “I didn’t cook it”. I informed him, that I was aware he didn’t cook it. When I asked the bartender’s if he passed my comments onto the kitchen he said “No”. I paid my bill and let him know through the mechanism of tipping, all was just OK. T - to I - insure P - proper S - service Great atmosphere.“

Polishing cutlery and throwing it in a bin very loudly right next to us while we watched a game, we had to ask them to stop. Staff were talking very loudly in right beside me about missing payments, yelling in my ear while I tried to enjoy my meal. The beer was flat, and it was not even busy. Only the bar section had guests. Just a bad day I guess....“

“My parents and I visited during the World Cup Weds June 24 - we were so impressed with the speed of service! Paula was attentive and friendly and did an excellent job. She and the staff in the restaurant were slammed during the Brazil game, after the Canada v Switzerland match. We could watch the Brazil match on the TV and food and beer were great. Thanks to all staff for a great World Cup experience full stop - it was incredible how great it was given the volume and chaos!“

We had the chicken quesadilla, mushroom burger, double cheeseburger with bacon, chicken teriyaki bowl, sweet potato fries, chicken wings, and everything was amazing!
