“Top tier semi hidden bar! It's a bit of a time capsule to an older-Van style, unpretentious sports-bar roadhouse type place. The location is unusual, sort of at the basement of an apartment complex on a road you've never been to before, situated on an urban residential cul-de-sac, giving the bar a sheen of surreality.

With many pool tables, lots of tables, two big screens for 2 different games to watch, and good prices for beer, I'd be here all the time if it was local to me.

Special mention for the food: had the chef's special lasanga last night and it was so good ordered a second dinner to try!

“our third time to T&B this week! My 92-year old mom visiting loved it so we kept coming (Brentwood, Bridges, and now Olympic). I didn't realize the menus slightly differ so the nachos at Brentwood were not at Olympic (of all the nachos I've had these stood out, layered with ingredients not just on top, and with feta which added a unique and amazing flavour). At Olympic, we were seated in a quieter part of the upper patio, ideal for conversation, and had 1/2 price wine for the six of us (was a Wednesday). The server was so friendly, offered extra chips for our gauc/chips, extra plates, and gave my mom two desserts of her choice! Superior service I wish I remebered his name, very attentive. Noisy inside and high energy, expected for a happy hour, but upstairs outside (via elevator for accessibility) was perfect. Stunning views. Can't go wrong with anything you order.“

“It's important to remember when visiting Quizine that this is an educational / learning environment for VCC students. I've never had a bad meal from Quizine and I find the prices super reasonable considering what you get. Decent selection of items (although I have to admit that my dietary restrictions are minimal so I can't speak on that front). It can be a little slow when it's busy but, again, that's to be expected.“

“We visited Denny’s and Pawan was our server, we have been here many times but the service we have received from Pawan has been the best we have ever received, she was super kind, friendly, bubbly and warm welcoming. We would come back to here just to see her. She is the best server we have had at this location ever.

“Man, I’ve been in BC for 3yrs now and I hadn’t been here. When I tell you it’s a whole vibe! Love the rustic style and graffiti everywhere. The dude who served us - so efficient, but did not gaf! Took our orders, brought the food, near about threw the cutlery on the table - no napkins to break the fall! Even the coffee is self-serve. The food was awesome! I got the all day breakfast with a side of sausages. My sister got pancakes, English muffins and a side of hashbrowns. Beware the size of the pancakes - it’s HUGE! The side of hashbrowns was also huge. Tipped 18%. 100% recommended. Definitely coming back!“

First time I've been here in 50 years and it will not be the last. The sole waitress was also the hostess, cashier, busser, and coffee refiller. The owner cooked, served and cashier. With restaurants dropping like flies in Vancouver due to high cost and labour shortage, it's amazing to see how efficiently this old school diner is run to keep labour cost and menu prices down.“

“Food was amazing. We did have to wait about 45 minutes to be seated, but since it is a small restaurant, that is understandable. The only downside was the hostess. “Not long ago -- early March I believe -- 15 of my teammates and I dropped in to East Side Craft House for some delicious chicken wings after rugby practice. The place was packed, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the beer was flowing, and everybody was having a great time!

Unfortunately, that night there was a group of 8 who were disgruntled that they couldn't be accommodated together on such a busy night. They kept complaining they'd made a reservation despite there being no reservations allowed on Wing Wednesdays.

Oh well. Otherwise, everything was great as always -- the food, the drinks and the service -- 5 stars all around!

I was so upset about this when I went.

They do still have some options for gluten-free dining, but its eggs and bacon sorts of meals. Nothing with pancakes or waffles, which lets be honest, is what you want when you go to ihop.

The food was still good, and the service too. My friends and I were there for quite awhile, and they never got impatient with us or told us to settle up.

All in all it was good...I just miss the gluten-free pancake option.“

“Okay, i’m giving 5 stars but that’s because i respect the hustle and the vibe you have curated for us all. But i have gripes!

The menu’s sequencing of drink sizing options makes zero sense, and almost landed me and my friends in VERY hot water! Please see the photos attached and notice how the quantity and prices drift in - then OUT - of chronological sense.

First we have the largest size 16oz (and $7.50 in my case, as a Talisman enjoyer). No qualms thus far, and still none as we move to the next size at 12oz. But THEN the size jumps from it’s descent all the way UP to pitcher size. 20oz! Without pitcher notice. Having consumed several drinks, i ordered the middle option (12oz!) thinking it would be a medium size relative to how the menu is graphic designed (famously my passion) and instead received a baby beer.

I think this makes little sense and was almost costly to the awkward social scenario i’d found myself in, which required the bigger and more boisterous beers for social ease.

All in all i had a great night though. But please review these notes!“

“I visited IKEA Saudi Arabia many times during my stay there n then South Korea. And this evening I was at IKEA Coquitlam Canada. I always enjoy visiting IKEA all the places because of its keeping n offering excellent quality goods - mainly furniture - at reasonable n affordable prices. And today again it was a great experience visiting there at IKEA with my daughter n family members. We enjoyed shopping there n bought many good things. We even bought a Pakistan made twin-size duvet cover with pillow cover though I came here just two weeks back from there, though I bought a Turkish made one because of their high quality fabric and thread count. And as usual we enjoyed dining there as we never found it expensive though IKEA always offer good quality meals and its large dining area is always almost full with people from all around the world. My most favourite dish here at IKEA Coquitlam was Fish with Chips as was in South Korea. While at Jeddah in Saudi Arabia it was Hummus and Omelette while there mostly Saudi women visit just to eat high value food of their choice. And it was another good attraction for dinning people at IKEA Canada to have pleasure of taking free tea n coffee after easy n free membership. MORE POWER TO IKEA -Worldwide ❤️“

“I’m currently sitting at the bar, the beer on tap was good, and the bar service was good. I ordered a Bison Burger which was just OK, the patty was dry, and the fixings were just OK. The French fries SUCKED, it felt like I got the dregs of the Mckains bag, small and very underwhelming. When I asked the bartender if he wanted any feedback, he said “I didn’t cook it”. I informed him, that I was aware he didn’t cook it. When I asked the bartender’s if he passed my comments onto the kitchen he said “No”. I paid my bill and let him know through the mechanism of tipping, all was just OK. T - to I - insure P - proper S - service Great atmosphere.“
