Legit place. Im from vancouver and we have a lot of asian food! This place would beat a lot of other restaurants in vancouver
Food was excellent and unlike other Chinese fare, was not oily nor heavily salted. Service was fast and cordial. Decor was not fancy but place was clean. We look forward to a return visit to try out other dishes. A rare find.
If you know what to order, Lee’s can be exceptional in terms of both food and price points.
The chef in the back knows their techniques and is only really limited by the menu itself imo, some of the items on which are less of their skillset while there are other items they excel at.

Lee's House Restaurant offers a delightful Chinese dining experience with a welcoming atmosphere and good service. The fried rice is a standout dish, always delicious and satisfying. Customers particularly enjoy the bao, which is described as "unreal," and the dim sum, which is believed to be some of the best in Victoria, made in-house with a Hong Kong dim sum cook. The dishes are fresh and include generous fillings, such as the shrimp dumplings and rice roll, though some pastries may be a bit thick or raw. The black truffle siu mai is especially praised for its perfect pastry and truffle aroma, with lots of shrimp and little pork. The sour spicy soup is another highlight, tasting close to authentic with a nice balance of tang and heat. Though some dishes could benefit from refinement, it remains a recommended spot for authentic Chinese cuisine, especially in Gordon Head.
