“The Old Alcohol Plant is an absolute gem! I had the pleasure of being part of a beautiful wedding here, and I was blown away. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure everything ran smoothly. The venue itself is stunning, with a gorgeous view that creates the perfect atmosphere for any celebration. Whether you’re hosting a wedding, party, or special event, this place is top-notch. Highly recommend!“

“We had dinner here this past Saturday. The atmosphere was a relaxing one. The food and service was great. Barry was out server. He was knowledgeable about the menu items and helped me select a very delicious Silverwater Cioppino (fish and shellfish stew). Thank you Barry!“
“I recommend New Day Fisheries because it is owned by Scott Kimmel- a longtime veteran of the seafood industry and all-around great guy. His pickled herring has no equal in the industry.“

“Food was delicious and equal to the view as we were fortunate enough to grab a waterfront table on the deck on a beautiful day! Friendly staff and totally deserving of 5 stars!“

“We stayed at the Marina RV Park for the weekend and decided to walk on over the night we got in. We had the BEST food and service, we loved it so much that we came back with some friends the next day for lunch. This place has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants, we will be back anytime we’re in Port Townsend. We were talking about that Prime Rib & Cheddar for the rest of the day and into the morning 😆🤤“
“I stayed at the castle one night for a work trip. It has its charms, and its draw-backs. The hotel halls were a little slim, the steps a bit steep, and the bathrooms (king rooms only) were tiny. The first floor had a damp, musty smell that was off-putting; it made me grateful to be second floor. The minifridge in my room was particularly noisy, so those who don't like white noise might struggle. Finally, there doesn't appear to be AC in the rooms (but windows open and there is a small fan) - use caution if you're staying in summer.
Overall, due to the age of the hotel, it isn't a very accessible option. All that said, check-in was easy, staff were pleasant, my room was clean, and I didn't hear a lot of noise at night. If you need a simple (yet haunted?) place to sleep for a night while in town, and a bit of extra mobility and flexibility doesn't bother you, Manresa will meet your needs.“

“I’ve paid way more than twice as much for seafood not half as good. Raised in Maine I know good seafood and this was better than anything I’ve ever had. His clam chowder and Deep fried Halibut are nothing short of the very best there is. Wonderful meal!“

“Loved your breakfast! Great job HPC!“
“This lovely small hotel right in the heart of Port Townsend. I walked to restaurants, the Saturday Farmers Market, and shops. The deck off the waterfront room was sunny and peaceful - perfect to enjoy morning coffee. Self check-in worked great, and the room was well stocked with everything I needed. Will definitely return when I'm in PT!Note that the hotel was beautifully renovated in 2018, so older reviews (especially ones about food from the now-closed restaurant below) don't reflect the current experience.“
