I've stayed at 4 different hotels in PT. This is 3/4 in my opinion.
When booking the hotel, I asked for additional pillows and a fan if possible. I did not hear anything about not being able to fill my requests. (I could have brought my own if I had.) Upon arrival, there were no extra pillows. I tried to make do for the first night and asked for extras the second. Their response was, "sorry we don't have extra pillows."

The wife and I stayed in the same room 12 years ago and the ambience and the stay was completely different and a little disappointing. The rooms have been remodeled and they added decks which was nice, but they removed all history and quaintness of all the guests written notes stuffed in the brick wall nooks and crannies.
