“We visited again from Sask and did not disappoint! Amazing! Well worth the wait in line! I had the tuna on salad! And my husband had the halibut fish and chips with a side of the chowder. The chowder was his favourite. Still taking about it. The staff were also fantastic. Friendly and very efficient! For the amount of people served and the small space we were amazed at how spotless the kitchen was. Highly recommend a visit here!!“

“Tried their Combo #2 with egg foo young and chose BBQ fried rice to pair. Asked for reduced sodium and they happily obliged, which is always a plus for me.

The food was well made and tasted as expected for a spot like this. The restaurant looked dated with the poor lighting but was clean.

For the incredible price, I only have good things to say about this place. Just remember to bring cash.“

“If you want good fish n chips, bruh....this is the place! Easily best batter in town, and if you want a better batter, you won't be bitter if you eat at Salty's. Anyways, the food speaks for itself. Gave 4 stars for atmosphere because the wall color didn't exactly match my shirt for a more effective disguise. Other than that, highly reccommend!“

“This is my favourite restaurant in town and I've been there dozens of times and have brought many people there from various family members, to friends, to coworkers. It has a very laid back, comfortable atmosphere with enough space to relax and without music so loud you feel you're in a night club. The food is consistently good, service prompt and friendly and their prices are fair without gouging like many restaurants love to do these days. The burgers, fish & chips, chicken strips and breakfasts are excellent! I've never had a meal there that I was unhappy with. On the rare occasion that something is awry, the server has always remedied the (so far small) issues that have come up immediately and to our satisfaction. I honestly don't understand why they don't have a line-up coming out the door most of the time. This place is fantastic! Highly recommend it!“
