“You know those times when you are just planning on "figuring it out when you get there" for a lunch and you stumble upon an absolute gem?! We had a moment like that when we stumbled upon Spuds. We were visiting family and took the ferry over to see some family before heading back over to the peninsula to visit with other family over Thanksgiving break. This restaurant is really close to the ferry terminal and an easy walk. We had six young kids with us and a handful of adults. The staff was extremely patient and friendly and went out of the way to take care of our wild pack of animals. ?I was impressed by their attitudes and their food was delicious. I had been craving some fish and chips and they had it in spades! Plus all the additional condiments you'd want and ones you didn't know you wanted until you saw they had it (that was the garlic aioli for me!). I was very impressed and have now made this "my spot" anytime I'm out there visiting.The atmosphere is so fun and the decorations are great. We loved the pinball machines a lot as well.I highly recommend this for getting some fish and chips or a quick bite while waiting for the ferry. The service was very speedy as well.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and a really fun option to take the kids to. The pinball machine is a fun kid friendly touch as well.“

While I did love the old spuds it was so great to see them reopen in the old location with the same vibe and menu!The fish and chips were spot on and was awesome to see how many regulars were coming in and out the storefront.Totally worth the visit if you’re walking around green lake.“

“Wonderful and attentive service. Very quaint and fun atmosphere, great for an evening get together with friends or a date. A little on the pricier side for the average dinner, which makes it better suited for a special event or night.Food is absolutely delicious, with generous servings of free bread and drink refills.Scallop Ravioli was INCREDIBLE. Very good portion, presentation, and taste!The breaded & fried salmon bites are also crazy good.“
“This is my go to spot for coffee and new fave of a prime rib breakfast burrito. The staff are wonderful accommodating my pooch with doggy biscuits I tried a cheeseburger this week that was excellent And what stuck out for me was the fries were not salted, a big plus for me being salt restricted for health reasons. Heartily recommend and will always return.“
“Ordered online. Food was ready and server sorted into two bags, "Hot" and "Cold". Ivar's chowder with fresh baked and cored sourdough bowl was unbelievably fresh and Full of clams!! Fish and chips was so much food it was 1/2 dinner and lunch the next day.“
