My bike route takes me past this lovely restaurant every day and I just had to try it. So lovely! A wonderful vintage atmosphere with great food and a lovely couple who run the business.
If you are looking for lightly salted , less greasy fish and chips and an ultra clean location ..try Haultains .. after being disappointed many times friends said.. “try Haultain’s halibut” … we did tonight ..we are very happy!! ?

After decades of hearing good things about the Haultain, finally got in there today, and was NOT disappointed. The couple that run it are lovely people, very sweet, so the service was excellent. And food was perfect, hot, fresh, and very tasty.....so good to find a spot for good fish & chips.....and we will be back again, in the not too distant future. le yum!
