Willows Galley Fish & Chips Reviews
Willows has changed. Spent $60 for two fish &chip meals last night and it was terrible. The batter was gluey, the halibut was dry and and the chips were soft and didn’t taste very good. So disappointed as we used to go there a lot because the food was so good.
Always a treat. Although primarily a fish and chip place they have the best hamburger in town.
Thanks Willows Galley for our delicious lunch on Mother’s Day ! We had a large pre Oder not only was it ready on time it was hot and we all enjoyed it ! Thanks again

Willows Galley Fish & Chips is a beloved restaurant known for its fresh fish and generous portions. Popular dishes include the First Mate’s Plate, featuring Halibut and Cod, and the Chief’s Plate, which offers a variety of sides like coleslaw and hand-cut fries. Many guests appreciate the thin and crispy batter on the fish, although some have noted that the Halibut portion can be a bit small. The fries are consistently praised for their quality and taste.
The restaurant is well-priced, making it a great value for customers; a meal for two often costs around $30, which is considered reasonable compared to other eateries. Guests enjoy the casual and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff and a community-oriented vibe. While seating options inside could be improved, many prefer the outdoor benches that enhance the dining experience.
Willows Galley is also recognized for its inclusive environment, supporting marginalized communities and promoting a safe space for all. Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended for anyone craving delicious fish and chips in a charming neighborhood setting.
