“The seasonal peach pastry brought me here to rave. Its got very thin and crackling laminated layers which were still perfectly crisp, the peaches were so ripe and fresh, and the pistachios on top, roasted and chopped for a great textural contrast to the cool dense pale green custard. That pistachio custard! Soft and smooth, yet didnt unload off the pastry. As a baker, I know this is a feat. To have the buttery crisp next to the creamy and the raw fresh peaches holding their flavor and color integrity.
It was something like 11 bucks, but no buyers remorse here. If your going to have a pastry, do it right!
