“Friendly service, interesting menu, tasty food. I do have a few suggestions: the restaurant menu would benefit from having clear descriptions to help guide people on the dishes. I told them I was vegan, but I'm pretty sure the dish they recommended (Soya Malai Chop) came with a mint raita, which I suspect was not vegan since raita is typically made with yogurt. I also probably wouldn't have ordered it if there had been a description that made it clear that there were no vegetables in the dish, just the marinated soya chunks. My husband ordered the veggie biryani, and the description didn't mention that it contains paneer, which of course is not vegan. I also wonder whether they use ghee in their cooking, which would make all of their dishes non-vegan unless they substitute the ghee when you ask for vegan food. I guess veganism is not common in Pakistan, but if they want to encourage a diverse clientele, it would definitely help if they were really clear on what is and isn't vegan. But very reasonable prices and good service, so overall a good experience. I'm sure that non-vegans will enjoy it greatly.“

“I love everything about this place BUT if I could please suggest one minor thing: PLEASE stop using that lemon-pinesol table cleaning spray. After almost finishing an amazing meal, the table next to us gets cleared and sprayed but the lemon smell kills every pleasant olfactory sensation after that point and it just ruins the meal me. So many alternative and effective sanitizing sprays to choose from that don't smell horrid.“

“The people here are so so lovely and the food is very good! Fresh fish, good portions, reasonable prices. The poke bowls are particularly tasty, and their rolls are also always excellent (caterpillar roll and futomaki roll are two of my favourites). Also have a fun assortment of drinks including several flavours of Ramune. Easy to order online, usually prepared within 15-20 minutes for pickup. My coworkers and I are regulars.“

“I would say that the food was delicious however very, very small. Not sure if it’s just because I’m from the US and our portions are huge or if others would agree. We got 4 baos and ramen, easily could’ve eaten 2x what we ordered. The Bao was delicious, however smaller than my hand. Ramen was also delicious but 5 bites and it’s gone. I would come back just with the expectation of spending a lot more money to get full“

“We got the vegetarian sampler for 2. They were lovely enough to make it vegan for us. The Thai curry was one of our favs and the deep fried mushrooms are dangerously addictive.Besides the food being phenomenal, the staff are so genuinely friendly. We ordered their new cocktails, the mango mojito and i think the other one was called spring blossom. Both were well balanced in flavour with natural ingredients, but the spring cocktail was beyond delicious. I could have drank 3 more but i had to drive.“

“Server was so friendly and sweet! I ordered the bulgogi dish during happy hour (select dishes are cheaper between 4-6pm). It came with some small side dishes and a portion of rice. The homemade kimchi was great, and the free ramen snack was yummy too ❤. “Incredible atmosphere that somehow manages to be both exciting and intimate, and like the food, in perfectly balanced servings. Amazed at the number of flavours and ingredients they are able to fit into a sushi roll without falling into the "westernized sizing" that so many similar establishments seemed to have adopted. Delicate, balanced, and satisfying without being a meal ender. For those who enjoy all the various food media these days, and have wanted to experiment without signing up for a large, unknown dish... the Tapas style and extremely affordable menu makes multiple visits not only a must, but a new, yet familiar experience with each visit. Attentive yet subdued service finishes the dish perfectly. Balance and thoughtfulness are the threads throughout which the entire experience is woven.“

“This place is an absolute must when in Victoria. I was skeptical as it doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food is absolutely delicious (wonton soup and the dumplings along with the cured beef were my personal favourites) and the general vibe of the restaurant is just so relaxing. “I've been to Varsha twice now. Food is excellent and the service has been great. We had the Chefs special for 2 easily would have fed 3. 2nd Visit was for their happy hour. Nice selection of foods and a good cold beer. Happy hour at an Indian restaurant is genius! Very reasonable happy hour prices. Can't wait to go back. Next visit will be for burger night! Well specifically the lamb burger. The 4 stars for atmosphere is because it's cool in the restaurant in the winter. Varsha had space heaters and they help but if this would be an issue for you go to Varsha when the weather warms up.Parking: Down town Victoria you are walking and paying. Pay more park close and walk...pay less and walk further. Park for free and have a nice longer walk. Worth the walk anyway.“
