“Absolutely love this place. One of my go to spots! We had the Spicy Boat Noodles and the Hot and Sour Pork Noodles and they were both amazing. I think my favourite was the Hot and Sour one tho because it has a tanginess that’s just so unique and refreshing. I can’t recommend this place enough. It does have limited seating and it gets quite busy so just be prepared.“

“They serve authentic taiwanese chinese style beef noodle soup. Especially I really recommend signature taiwanese beef noodle with boneless chicken. It's so tasty. Once you try it them, you will be absolutely hooked! Moreover, they have the food for vegetarian so you will be able to customize them.If you are in Vancouver, you should visit this restaurant!“

“Great restaurant. Great food.
Sukiyaki is juicy and has lots of flavor. Best food to enjoy when it is raining. It fills you up.
Tonkatsu is very crispy outside but juicy inside. In korean we say “겉바속촉“.
Great service as beautiful server helps to light up sukiyaki and gives great explanation about the food (how to enjoy the food, what goes well with the food)“

“Visited late at night. One of the few restaurants opening late. Had the Bo Luc Lac (wok-fried beef) and prawn tempura. Best beef I have had in a long while. Steak was excellent with just the right amount of softness to bite through. The tempura was interesting fusion of Japanese and Vietnamese sauce. Service was great. I believe the chef personally brought out a dish.

“Very good pho! I got the Kim House Special and it was amazing. The broth was rich, the beef amount was pretty generous for the price, and the noodles are delicious. Definitely underrated, especially considering that there is only one person running the whole restaurant. Top quality✨🙌“

“PROS:Have really on tried the spicy beef noodle soup, bbq pork fried rice, duck fried rice, and spicy won tons. They all have been tasty or satisfactory. No complaints in the taste department from me.CONS:I used to eat here twice a week at least when they had the 10% off when ordering online, but since the removal, I have eaten there a few times since last year.The price is similar to restaurant food, so a bit expensive considering it is food court food. Maybe this is due to the addition of the "free" drink. Maybe it is now due to the cost of food.The "free" drink included with some of the items should be removed. One reason is because of the cup fee in Vancouver. The other is that I don't care much for the drinks. Choice would be nice and hopefully will reduce the price of the meal and reduce unnecessary waste.“

“A little cramped, a little dingy, a little disorganized, this restaurant will win you over not with looks but with comfort food, refreshing soda, and a kind soul.
The curry chicken is presented like an omurice with several fat chunks of chicken around it. The chicken was pleasantly soft and chewy, and went well with the curry sauce. The rice was a bit hard, but no points lost for that. I could eat it just fine with the thinly spread egg. The star of the show was actually the berry soda! Sweet but with the right amount of tanginess, and with some berry pulp at the bottom to top it off!
There was enough soda in one cup to last me two meals. It’s enough of a selling point for me to return. I usually don’t drink soda, but damn, you got to me. Thank you!“

“Loved every minute of our dining experience here! The aromas upon entering this wee spot got us excited, the welcoming staff were lovely, and then...the food. We ordered Omakase C - Cofu and were delighted! The presentation is artful, but not fussily so. The flavours were layered and subtle so every ingredient could be tasted. Our favourite was the salmon sushi (we ordered an extra 8 pieces!), rich, decadent and delish, especially with the Cilantro Cucumber sauce. We tried the Restore and Elevate mushroom tinctures on the rocks; unexpected flavours, but they grew on us paired with the food and a little ice melt dilution. We will go back time and again to try everything on the menu. Highly recommended!“

“I have no doubt 88 Town offers the best Jjajangmyon and Korean Chinse dishes in entire Burnaby.
Given that the food and service are excellent, I would like to suggest offering smaller portions of Sweet & Sour Pork and Kanppungi. Nowadays, many people come to dine alone; nevertheless, currently these dishes are only available in large portions, which makes it difficult for some customers, including myself, to order them. I hope you will consider this suggestion.“

“This small and local mom and pop shop is just simply the best. This is my second time going in person to order take out and they remember me still even from 4 months apart of ordering.
For the price of what we pay, it is for sure worth the money. They don’t skim on your portions or your tastebuds. Best place to consider for your take out reasons!!!

“Argo Burger topped with bacon, cheese, fried onions and egg is served alongside a mound of fries. Delicious, whether eaten hot or cold. Fried chicken burger is one of the best in town. Fish and chips came with equal amounts of both, which translates into lots. Creamy Chicken chili con queso and heaping plateful of Spicy lamb on their respective beds of rice were stick-to-your-bones good. Then there's the home-baked pie and the OMG butter tart! “Great hidden cafe/restaurant that is walking distance from Braid Skytrain station. I’m fortunate to live a short 10 minute walk away from Babs, so I usually stop by 1-2x a week for their delicious breakfast and Korean food.
The front of house staff member/manager (i think her name is Jane?) is really nice as well! 10/10 recommend Babs for those who live a short walk or drive away :)“

“Not a good experience! We ordered 2 main courses 1 duck 1 chicken The duck dish was half cooked, the toppings around were not tasty at all. The chicken dish came uncooked! We returned the dishes to the waitress immediately, we were shocked that this is the food served. When the bill arrived, The restaurant asked to charge us for both dishes full price, We refused! After a short conversation they said they would give us a 10 percent discount, We also refused! We returned an entire dish to the kitchen and the second dish we barely touched ... in the end we only paid for the drink and the duck dish. “The ingredients are fresh and the service is friendly. I recommend their beef, pork, fresh tofu skin, and snakehead fish. All of it is delicious. The restaurant is very clean. From the cups to the washrooms, this place a lot cleaner than other hot pot places I have tried. I've visited twice and I definitely will return when I'm in the area again. Thanks!“

“This is a sushi restaurant that I truly love. I used to believe that restaurants inside shopping malls generally couldn’t match the quality of standalone sushi restaurants, but this place completely shattered that stereotype. It’s the only restaurant inside Capilano Mall that’s always packed with people, and because of that high turnover, the fish is always fresh and delicious. Every time I visit, I find myself deliberating over what to order because I want to try everything on the menu. There’s always a reason why a place stays consistently crowded, and this restaurant is proof of that. Highly recommended!“
