“Exceptional service and the best Sushi I have ever eaten! Upon arrival they brought to our table ice water and green tea (free) and allowed us to look at the menu for the right amount of time asking if it was our first visit! We started with Spicy Agedashi Tofu, followed by Tobiko Nagiri, salmon sashimi and their Mr Big Roll. DO NOT miss out on this amazing roll of you have the opportunity to try it out!“
“Delicious food!! (I highly recommend the ‘egg tofu’! And everything else I’ve had there has also been top quality!). Service is always excellent - and when I came for my birthday they let me bring a cake! They were very gracious waiting for everyone in our party to arrive too. Excellent food and excellent service always! Thank you!Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level and it would be easy to fit a wheelchair in if necessary. Did not check for grab bars in washroom“
“THIS is what we're talking about when we say AUTHENTIC Asian food!Such a hidden gem. I live in downtown and happen to come by today and decided to give it a try. We ate as much as we can and every single dish blew our mind. The owner really put their ❤️ into the food they make. They explained how they made the dish so it's the closest to their hometown flavour. Many ingredients in the food is difficult to get here in North America but the owner really tried hard to get them to make sure it tastes the best.I'm pretty sure this is the best spot for Filipino cuisine in town. Don't miss it if you're in the neighborhood. To the owners: Please really consider opening in downtown on Denman street. We need food like this to stay alive!“
“can call the server from a room (if your group is big). and they will come really quickly.they got free parking in aberdeen center parking.will want to wear a dark color as its likely to get soup splattered onto ur shirt or top.they have aprons and cover for your jackets. but aprons wont save your shoulder and arm“
“As an absolute food crazed individual I have to say Chef Han's restaurant Kosoo + Raw Bar is one of my favourite restaurants, here and abroad, so far. The chef was away for a while, on his return we visited and it was brilliant as usual. I have never been disappointed only always impressed beyond my expectations. Welcome back Chef Han!“
“I've been meaning to try this place for years but never got around to it till recently and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how good it is! It's definitely got that hole in the wall type of vibe but everything we ordered tasted delicious. The menu items aren't anything special but everything tasted good. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the French toast, it was quite dry in the middle. My favorite was the triple decker club sandwich! If youre looking for a spot that gives you that nostalgic 80's diner vibes, this is it!“
“February 10th, 2023 was such a tiring day. I had classes at UCW till late and, as a good hungry taurine, I had to eat something delicious to make me feel well. Also, it had to be mandatorily vegan, so I would also keep my mind in peace. While searching for a restaurant with vegan options, I saw this sushi one, called Cofu Pressed Sushi. It was not far from UCW Vancouver House (around 15 minutes by bus) and it would be open till 9:00 PM. So, I decided to go there. I called my husband and we met there. The restaurant is not that large, and they have just a few tables, just the way I like it. But the best, in my opinion, was that it was so clean, fragrant, and decorated with such a good neatness that I felt a cozy mood as soon as I entered. Nevertheless, we were very well welcomed by the server, and he explained the whole menu to us. Besides they former factors I mentioned, the latter is the most important in my opinion. The way I am hosted and treated in any commercial place makes the whole difference in my final perception. I took the Aichi combo from the Omakase Menu. This combo had plant-based tuna (made of jackfruit), tofu, avocado, fresh mix veggie, and a sauce made of vivid beets and spicy mayo. As for my husband, he chose the Ofu combo. It had plant-based salmon (made of carrot and konjac), pumpkin, eggplant, red & yellow bell pepper, and a sauce made of cilantro, cucumber, and wild carrot. As the picture shows, the dish presentations were so beautiful, showing the food as something delicate, that the sushi master really took care of it. Last, but not least, the taste. It was so delicious! Every bite mattered to me. I was hungry, but I took every sushi slowly to feel all flavours and had the best sensory experience. For some the amount of food may look little, but I guarantee it made me fill satisfied. As a whole, I felt really delighted and I wish to return there soon to order the other options.“
“The food here is delicious! Owner and his crew are very friendly and took his time to help me how could I add a review. I made a mistake by myself because I found the bowl not big as I expected but the owner explained that if I paid $1 more I could get as much as I wanted . I had the Braised Beef Noodles and the beef was so fresh and it was delicious! The noodles were cooked to perfection and the broth was flavourful and savoury. Each table doesn’t have the pack of chilly oil, vinegar and soy sauce even though I recommend this restaurant to everyone like asian foods.“
“I work in the area and went there as another food option and was happy with what I got. I ordered the signature soya chicken on rice dish and just got the spicy chicken on noodles/dan dan dish and it was tasty. I will be making this one of my go to places. Owners are super nice too.“
“I was so impressed at the quality of the sushi. I thought beforehand that “how good can mall food court sushi be?” Boy, was I wrong to assume it could not be as good as it was. In fact, due to a misunderstanding in my part, where I ordered an extra miso soup, on top of the meal which included it, the hostess apologized for not letting me know and brought me a small sushi treat on the house. The sushi chef was awesome as well and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, so I will be returning.“
