Plum Garden & CHAKURA is a decent university option for Asian food. Their Katsu is amazing, with crispy skin that pairs well with rice. The fruit teas are good too, with real fruit bits that add a great touch. The bubble tea, like the charcoal oolong with pearls, is fine, but some may not enjoy the powdered milk. The service is average, and the restaurant interior is not visually appealing. It's not usually busy, making it a quiet dining option. The seating can be a bit crowded but easily adjustable. Parking in the SFU East lot requires a pass. Overall, a good spot for tasty Katsu and fruit teas, despite some minor drawbacks.
