I ordered the Thanksgiving lunch special and found it to be okay overall. The butternut squash soup was quite light, and I think it would have been better with a stronger, more pronounced flavour. The turkey was decent, though nothing particularly stood out. I opted for the cheesecake instead of the pumpkin pie, as I’m not usually a fan of pumpkin pie. Overall, it was an okay meal, but there’s room for improvement in terms of flavour.
Went to a dinner event here and the ambiance was very nice. The service was good and the food was good too. Highlights were the spinach and ricotta cannelloni, the creamy mashed potatoes that were so smooth and rich, the mushroom chicken, and the saffron rice which were all quite wonderful tasting. The egg tarts for dessert were warm and yummy as well. The cinnamon donut holes however at the dessert table were very cold as if just taken out of a fridge and stale. I just recently had my wedding here and it was the best decision ever! Thank you to the Burnaby mountain clubhouse team, you guys were so amazing to work with and so sweet. Everyone was extremely helpful in answering all my questions, planning with me, and just so kind overall. The team is professional, experienced and very on top of communication.
