Alright our original go-to was Sushi story/Sushi field in esquimalt. Came here on a whim by a friend's suggestion and was just fully blown away. There is just something about the rice that is next level - buttery and soft and chewy and fragrant. The rolls are STUFFED. Service is quick and friendly. Wished they were open a bit later though for those late night cravings :)
The sushi ingredients are fresh, have a nice texture, and are delicious. The chicken katsu and burritos were generous, crispy, and really delicious, and I enjoyed eating them all with my kids. The staff and owner at the store are all friendly and nice. I will visit often.

The people here are so so lovely and the food is very good! Fresh fish, good portions, reasonable prices. The poke bowls are particularly tasty, and their rolls are also always excellent (caterpillar roll and futomaki roll are two of my favourites). Also have a fun assortment of drinks including several flavours of Ramune. Easy to order online, usually prepared within 15-20 minutes for pickup. My coworkers and I are regulars.
