TangMaRu Reviews
It is pretty authentic Korean cuisine, but I don't think it has good quality of Gamjatang itself while its name is Gamjatang place 😅 When I got Gamjatang, it was already lukewarm, and didn't really have enough ingredients inside. So disappointing. But Pork cutlet was good. I recommend you to change the restaurant's name to Pork Cutlet or Cold Noodle place, instead of Gamjatang, because Gamjatang sucks to be honest 😅
Amazing naengmyeon and tonkats that tastes just like in Korea!! Ask for the tonkatsu sauce on the side so the cutlets can stay crispy
The naengmyeon was pretty good. It’s Hamheung-style, with thin and chewy noodles. But apparently, if you order just naengmyeon, you don’t get any side dishes or did they just forgot about me? I saw a few other tables that only ordered naengmyeon, and they got kimchi and some side dishes. Meanwhile, I got absolutely nothing.

TangMaRu is a popular Korean restaurant known for its stone bowl bibimbap, seafood pancake, and Ox bone soup. The GamjaTang is highly recommended, although the food can be quite spicy. The bibim naengmyeon is a must-try with its delicious seasoning. The pork cutlet is tender, but the sauce is sweet and fruity. While the service may not be the best, the place is clean and organized. Ample parking is available.
Customers praise the restaurant's Gamjatang, Ox bone soup, and Tonkatsu. The Ox bone soup is considered the best in the metro Vancouver area. The staff are described as kind and helpful in explaining the menu. Overall, the food is amazing, with customers enjoying the ability to season the Ox soup to their liking.
