“It is pretty authentic Korean cuisine, but I don't think it has good quality of Gamjatang itself while its name is Gamjatang place 😅 When I got Gamjatang, it was already lukewarm, and didn't really have enough ingredients inside. So disappointing. But Pork cutlet was good. I recommend you to change the restaurant's name to Pork Cutlet or Cold Noodle place, instead of Gamjatang, because Gamjatang sucks to be honest 😅“

“Had a really delicious dinner at Toedam! We ordered the King Set ($108) for the family, and we finished everything — the meat was flavorful, tender, and well-seasoned. We also ordered a spicy cold noodle, which was tasty overall, although I found it had a little too little broth.
One tip if you’re ordering for BBQ: I personally wouldn’t recommend the beef short plate here. Since it’s sliced quite thinly, it cooks very quickly and can become dry if you’re not careful. I’d definitely go for thicker cuts for grilling.

Overall, the meat was delicious and packed with flavor. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely come back!“

Ordered two bbq meat (seasoned rib finger & marinated prime beef rib), spicy soy garlic chicken.

Overall was a good experience for us. Service was quick. Banchan refill were quickly delivered upon request.

The bbq meat, like many bbq Korean joint, determined by how you cooked it.

Spicy soy garlic was good.

Price is on the higher end (expensive).

Men’s toilet was clean.

The fried chicken is really crispy, and the chicken marinated in the spicy sauce is delicious too. It’s a place where you can be satisfied with both the taste and the portion size!“

“Saw this shop on TikTok and despite how far it was, I wanted to try it in high hopes.

Ordered a tteokboki + bulgogi kimbap combo for $18.50 and a japchae + moon kimbap combo for $13.50. The prices are pretty good for how good the food is.

I'm really satisfied in the spice level of the tteokboki because I usually can't have my food too spicy. But this was perfect as I could eat several pieces without a break.

The japchae was perfectly seasoned. Not too sweet and not too salty. The kimbap was really high in quality and the ingredients were fresh.

I also really liked the pickled cabbage. It was a nice palette cleanser.

My boyfriend really enjoyed the soup the combo came with. He even had my portion lol!“

“I’ve been here several times and it’s always been fantastic, however I do not recommend coming with a large group.

The food has always been delicious and drinks are good too, but the service was horrendous for a larger group. It took forever to get any service, staff would make eye contact with us when we tried to wave them over, and then just ignore us. There were a lot of staff available just loitering around the bar area and did not come to our aid.

It took a very long time for us to get our bills, and when they finally took it they charged many of us twice or even thrice. Some of us tried to tell the waitress that the first transaction went through, but they insisted we pay again because they got an error on their end. Just a reminder to maybe check your bank statement after to make sure this didn’t happen to you. I don’t think it was on purpose, but still frustrating to deal with.

Other than that the food was delicious. Sooda box remains one of my fav dishes and their cheese corn is great.“

I came to Chibop after discovering their vegan ramyeon combo, and I was so excited to see a Korean restaurant with a dedicated plant-based section on the menu! 🌱💚 They even sell vegan kimchi — which honestly made my vegan heart very happy. 🥹

I ordered the combo with:

🍜 Ra-myeon — 100% plant-based broth with noodles, onions, and green onions.
🥢 Spinach Vegan Kimbap — spinach, cucumber, carrots, yellow pickled radish, bell peppers, burdock, and savory seasoned tofu.

At first, I wondered if I was being a little ambitious ordering both.
😂 But the fresh veggie kimbap was surprisingly light and easy to eat, and the ramen bowl looked a little smaller than I expected (compared to the photos 😉), so thankfully I was able to finish everything. 😋

Bonus points: they were playing K-pop songs while I enjoyed my meal. 🎶✨ A vegan Korean meal with K-pop in the background? Yes please. 😂

I’m so thankful that Chibop offers plant-based options because it makes enjoying Korean food so much easier for vegans. I really enjoyed my meal here, and I’m definitely curious to come back and try their other vegan dishes! 🌱💚“

The kimbap rice was perfectly cooked not too soft or mushy and each roll was generously filled with a variety of ingredients, making every bite delicious and satisfying. The tteokbokki had a great chewy texture, and the sauce was flavorful without being overwhelmingly spicy, pairing perfectly with the kimbap.

Our beef ribs bbq was excellent-typically, a little pricy, but SO good! The nicely done seafood pancake was quite large, and just filled with ingredients! Their 4 entrees were just great-a sweet dressing salad, nice homemade kimchi, pickled peppers, sweet daikon-and rice! The Yuringi was absolutely outstanding, perfectly crispy with an incredible sauce balance. It’s honestly so hard to find this level of Yuringi in Vancouver. I heard the chef recently came from Korea, and the quality of the food is truly on another level.

“I first tried their food when I visited a church, and OMG, I was seriously blown away!! The meal was SO good that I had to ask my Korean friend where it was from, and they immediately told me about this place.

We normally come in a group of 4 and get the deluxe set to share, which comes with a large variety of bbq and non-bbq items and is more than enough for each of us to feel stuffed by the end of the meal. Remember to ask for the cold noodles since they’re included in the deluxe set but need to be requested separately. You can ask for it during any time of your meal, but we prefer to have it early on.“

We both ordered the Original chicken meal that came with a drink as well and it was only $13.99. The portion amount was really good for the price. The server Jinnie was very sweet, kind and super respectful and made me feel welcomed as it was my first time here and I couldn’t have felt happier to have her as my waiter. It’s a great spot to come and study because the ambience and vibe is super chill and plays very mellow Korea music. I had a great conversation with Jinnie even after the restaurant closed. “I would like to review Tokki restaurant in the Henderson mall food court. I've been here more than 10 times, I love their Jjolmyun.
This time I ordered Jjolmyun and chicken curry.
Jjolmyun: it's maybe the best jjolmyun in Vancouer. The balance of cabbage, noodle, sauce with other condiments is just perfect. This is 10/10
Chicken curry: my wife ordered it for her dinner. Curry was rich and chicken katsu was well-fried. I had a bite and I also liked it. This is probably for my children when I visit again.

“One of the best Korean restaurants I have tried so far ⭐️ Absolutely delicious!! It’s insanely good. I was surprised by how rich and flavorful the soup of the tteok Mandu guk was. The portion size was big and there’s a generous amount of strips of brisket which were also tasty. The carbonara tteokbokki was delicious and had a decent portion, the flavor just exploded in my mouth. You can taste the perfect balance of cheese and the spices. The sauce was just soo good.

I still remember the flavor and I’m craving for it! Highly recommend! The staff was also attentive and friendly.“
