One of the best 감자탕 I've had! It's got just the right amount of depth and spiciness.Highly recommend for the 감자탕 and 설렁탕. The 육개장 was too spicy and the meat inside was very tough, would not recommend. The kimchi was also really good with the 설렁탕! Ambiance is pretty simple, no frill location for a nice hearty meal, service is a bit slow.

DO NOT ORDER THE BOILED BEEF BRISKET. You pay 42$ just to get little meat that is not filling whatsoever. they need to either decrease the price by a lot or add a lot more meat. disapponting

My wife and I arrived at the restaurant at 7:50 pm and was told that the restaurant closed at 8:00 pm therefore they will not be serve us anymore. The closing time, posted on both their website and on the entrance, indicated 9:00 pm. There were still 3 tables of guests dining when we walked in. It is terrible business practice and we won't be going there anymore, and we will not recommend this restaurant to our friends.

After a very full day and ridiculously long waits for dinner at every establishment we tried in the Brentwood area, we decided to head toward home (Airbnb in Belcarra) and stopped in, beyond famished, at TangMaRu. We arrived quite close to the last order and we were literally the last people leaving, but the server was very pleasant and kind despite having a ton of cleaning to do. My kids don’t do well with spice, so we got the bulgogi, which to my surprise was a soup with lots of veggies, tender beef and potato noodles. They raved about it and insisted I also leave a rave review. :) My dolsot bibimbap was also very tasty.

I liked the authenticity of taste. Although I had a hard time trying to eat it as the food was just too hot(temperature). What was suppose to be a 20 minutes lunch ended up being 45 minutes long because I had to keep blowing the soup and rice to cool it down... I wished it was winter.

Just finished there,I go there from time to time but today I really did not enjoy it, first the meat in pork bone soup is rough,that's ok for me as the soup taste ok,the one thing that I did not like the most is I asked the short hair older wait stuff for more kimchie and she said yes but it never came at the end what funny is it wasn't that busy as well,I usually leave them 5 bucks for tio but today I was piss and left the 1.50 which is for the gesture.anyway I'm really dissatisfied and disappointed.okay I will say I'm done with this place and next time will go to Hang Gang for my pork bone soup.
