“Stopped by here before heading home today and the wonderful lady that helped us with our order was just super nice and explained the type of hot sauce and the difference, usually all you get from other places is it’s hot and that’s spicier, but to go into detail the type of heat is nice for someone indecisive like me to choose the right one.This is probably one of the best chicken sandwich places in Surrey to be honest. I mean the Mary Brown’s and Popeyes are super dry, McDonald’s is hardly considered chicken and they’re gross like other fast food joints. But Major Joy’s sandwiches actually are hearty sandwiches with a good amount of sauce, jalapeño and greens. The chicken inside of the sandwich is also MASSIVE, not the tiny piece of chicken you get at other places, which is awesome.She also gave us a sample of the Tiramisu cake which was actually very good, it wasn’t dry - like most places, where you get this cake and it’s just dry and not appealing. But this one was actually very moist and a nice treat after a spicy meal.I wish I remembered her name - But to the woman that serviced us February 20th around 4pm, thanks!“
“Im glad i came here and discovered korean chicken its delicious everytime and fresh and crispy its best if u call in advance to pickup it takes roughly 20mins i usually get half n half 2 flavours enough to eat atm and again for later the place is small seats about 10 to 12 people and theres no washroom definitely beats your typical fast food chicken worth the try recommend it yangyeom or buldak (sweet spicy) lvl 1 and lvl 2“
“Had been a while since we had fried chicken. The other guys reviews were gross and awful. Oily , cold , wrong orders , bad service. This place delivered top notch. Chicken was awesome. Not oily at all. Fresh and tasted great. Don’t bother with the other usual places , these guys are hands down the best. Surprised those other places still exist after reading their reviews. “I wish I took pictures but I was too busy devouring the chicken! Not only were the visuals amazing but the taste was even better!Ordered both boneless and bone-in half-half were just delicious! Probably one of the biggest chicken legs I have seen so far in Surrey! I would highly recommend!“
“I used to recommend Nando’s South Surrey to my neighbours, but we ordered some chicken tonight and were so disappointed as the chicken was over cooked and super dry (seemed as the chicken has been sitting forever) to the point that some pieces were inedible. I’m not sure if the owners changed or the cooks, but it definitely isn’t what it used to be. It’s a shame really, because you lost a customer.“
“Good fresh Chicken. Not greasy. Love the tater fries. Very friendly staff. Low wait times. Reasonable prices. Option to order front or middle chicken breast, no one else does that. Currently my fave fried chicken spot, they've bumped Popeyes from the top. Canadian owned and operated. I regularly eat here. Zero complaints. Still a good deal which is rare nowadays. One of the only restaurants I leave not feeling ripped off.“
“I came intO The Chicken World by Newton exchange bus station around 10:30 at night Still half an hour left before it closed and was given the end of the night chicken I guess it was rock hard my mother And I couldn't even eat it I'm not too sure exactly what they were thinking but I eat at this restaurant all the time and it's usually not like that It's been a few times where I've went to the other one.The other chicken world is the one that I frequent regularly,We had gotten food there and it wasn't so great and the owner sent me back to the restaurant to get my my full meal replaced. Yeah I just feel ripped off because we spent over $45.00something dollars I also gave her a $2 tip which isn't much but it's all I can afford. “It is a quiet location just north of Surrey Central. The service was incredibly friendly and patient with us as new customers.We ordered the Half and Half and got a ton of food (way more than we had anticipated). It came with a complimentary drink, and the meal was perfect. We had plenty of leftovers which was a fantastic snack for later.Could not recommend the place more!“

“Far away my favorite place for Korean style fried chicken. The corn chicken is always a must and the portion sizes are appropriate for what you’re paying.I’ve never had a bad experience with any of the wait staff, despite what some reviews here are saying. I recommend coming here yourself and trying it out. The only downside is it may take a while for your food to get out, but it’s a long process to get the stuff together. Really great tasting chicken!“
“The food is awesome I requested for some accommodations and the staff provided each and everything up to mark. I ordered 16 pieces meal. The manager on duty was also very nice and polite. Not only this the restaurant was very hygienic staff was keeping an eye on the dining area as they were taking round in the area.The all I want to say is much better location than other locations of same franchise.
