“Originally, there was a small hiccup with my ordered unicorn cake. Mistakes happen, I get it. After a few discussions, it was corrected and prepared for my 6 year old daughter. Upon seeing the cake, my daughter literally yelled out with excitement and said (direct quote) " This is the best cake I have ever seen!".“

“I’ve been there twice. I ordered a crepe and waffle, fresh juice. Those were fire! Especially the waffle was freshly baked and had the right sweetness!

“Earnest has really embraced vegan choices; they've gone from 1 plant based choice, to half of the menu being vegan. Complete with vegan toppings and gf cones! I had an amazing scoop of bumble berry crumble on a GF waffle cone. Common allergens were clearly listed and the staff were very knowledgeable about the choices for limited diets! A big improvements since their inception!“

“We hired Earnest for our wedding. They came with an ice cream cart and two staff members. We had guests that had gluten, nut and dairy intolerances at our event so we opted for one vegan ice cream option. I made sure with the event coordinator that this ice cream would be safe for our guests to eat. Unfortunately, staff at the event were not careful with the cross contamination and got waffle cone crumbs in the vegan ice cream so some guests couldn't have any ice cream at all. Overall, other guests did get to enjoy the ice cream.

“The ice cream is located inside Whisk Match Cafe. The cafe has seating and lots of other lovely vegan treats. The soft serve is not available every day so we settled for a frozen tub of ice cream. It was really good. Matcha flavour without bitterness and much creamier than some vegan soft serve I’ve had elsewhere. They have rotating flavours and can check the schedule to tell you what flavours will be coming up. If you don’t live in Vancouver it can be a bit if a downer that the flavour you want isn’t available. Updated from previous review on 2024-09-23“

“Cute little in-house gelato place, right in the tiny square outside by the water. We got their dark chocolate, hazelnut chocolate, and raspberry lime flavored gelato and they were INCREDIBLE! Especially the raspberry lime one!! I'll definitely be back for that one, and to try the lemon flavor !“

“We came in after dinner on a weeknight. There were a couple of people enjoying ice cream at their designated seating. We ordered three children's cones. The staff member (Manraj) even let my kids try a couple of flavours before they committed their flavour. My kids had a great time until my daughter decided to jump around with her cone outside of the store—her ice cream fell on the ground. She was quite upset and we walked in and told the staff member what had happened and she did not hesitate to replace the cone happily. We will definitely be coming here for our ice cream from now on.“

Wheelchair accessibility: I’ve seen wheelchairs come in. The entrance is on the same level as the sidewalk. Inside is spacious enough to maneuver, and the large table in the middle is a great height.“

“Love the Dairy Queen. This is a small shop on Pacific Avenue in Yaletown. It’s busy in the summer when it gets hot. Lots of walking business. Obviously the ice cream, dessert and other treats such as blizzards are the most popular item although they do also sell packages of things like dilly bars, and ice cream cakes and the lake. I’ve never tried their hotdogs. They seem to have there. They don’t seem to have hamburgers or any other fair. There’s no place to sit here but so you can sit outside or walk along the sea while you eat. There’s also Davide land park across the street.not particularly late but as a snack after dinner sits alongside row restaurants, including Subway at Chinese tea shop Mexican restaurant and more can enjoy savoury fair and then a treat afterwards if you like. Also close to the subway station. Street parking.“
