Grabbed brunch at il Mondo Cafe & Gelato with a few friends last weekend and the pistachio gelato alone is worth the trip. We sat out on the little patio around 11am and the staff kept checking in without being annoying about it, which I appreciated. The avocado toast had this chili crunch on top that nobody at the table expected but everyone loved. Honestly already planning to go back before the weather turns.
Sunday morning here was perfect for grabbing some shots before the place filled up, with soft light coming through the front windows onto the marble counter. I had the pistachio gelato paired with a cortado, and both were excellent, the espresso had a nice balance that didn't get lost under the milk. Just popped in for a hot chocolate after an evening meeting. The hot chocolate was more of a warm chocolate and I'm pretty sure it was made with a powdered mix since mine had unmixed in clumps at the bottom. Having said that, it wasn't over the top sweet so I appreciated that. The chairs are hella uncomfortable but the booth seats looked comfy enough.
