Today, I had a very terrible experience in this place at 2pm. The worker(male) made the worst latte ever. I saw him steaming the milk, he didn’t even look at the milk and he just chatted with his coworker. No form, bad art. Moreover, one of my friends is pregnant so she needs to be warm but the male worker kept open the back door even though I closed the door for several times. He needs more training.

Service is good but before transaction is over they run off and never stick around to ask if you need your receipt which is really annoying because you have to linger to wait for it.

Last week I visited this cafe in hurry to get coffee and I was surprised how professional the barista was. Amir was the barista that day and I told him I was late to catch my bus, he was very nice and wasy going and made the coffee quickly so I could catch my bus and oh boy the coffee there is good! Their blend is rich and baristas know what they are doing, specially Amir! Will definitely recommend.

It was busy as expected Saturday afternoon, but I was lucky to grab a table right away after I ordered. The interior is warm and not too cramped even though it's small. It looks like there is a patio that they may open during warmer months but it's closed now (January). I'm not sure if it could be called a 100% pure authentic Italian cafe but there is a bit of Italian influence in the bakery offerings, plus of course they serve gelato. The baked goods all looked so good. The food was very good. I had a salmon & cream cheese croissant sandwich, chocolate lava cake, and a masala chai latte. They were out of the salmon sandwiches in the prepared case but they made one fresh for me which was definitely better. I was expecting maybe some greens or onions or something else on the sandwich but it is really salmon and cream cheese only. I do prefer some vegetable on my sandwiches but I will not rate this on something it wasn't trying to be, and if I just judge it as smoked salmon and cream cheese on a croissant, it was perfect. The croissant was very fresh and had a buttery flavour but wasn't oily to touch. They warmed up the lava cake and it was also amazing, full-bodied but not too sweet. My chai latte was spicy and also not very sweet (which is how I prefer it).Just fyi, there was a single vegan baked good (an orange olive oil cake which looked great) and there are nondairy milks for your drinks, but I did not see anything vegan and savoury on offer. There is a “breakfast sandwich” on the menu which is not described in further detail - it COULD be vegetarian but very likely not. So do not count on a meal here if you are veg.

I'd like to recommend them for their amazing coffee. I purchased a bag of roasted coffee for day-to-day use too. Moreover, it's one of the best cafes in Vancouver indeed for its atmosphere to spend a relaxing evening.
Fantastic coffee, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff. A must-visit spot for coffee
