When I came this weekend to visit Vancouver for the first time, I was hoping to avoid any avalanches. But that is exactly what happened today… to my delight. Bulldozed by an avalanche of flavors after the first bite, my taste buds have never been more satisfied. Please bring this restaurant to NYC. It deserves recognition in the highest form.“

It is more of a walk in place to take food to go, very homey and modest. If you like they do have a couple of bar seats against the window to dine-in.Vegetarian options: There’s a wide variety of sandwiches and wraps to choose from (including vegetarian). They even have soup! She is very accommodating and makes each order to your preferences to the best of her ability.Parking: There are many street parking around the area (mostly metered), if you go midday you can usually find a spot in the neighborhood behind the store!“

He helped me on the best recommendation on the menu & he recommended me the Dac Biet (Deluxe Cold Cut) and the bread is served very Warm & Fresh & the Smoothie is fresh as well & everything on the menu are very affordable as well. “After trying the shashuka from Harvest Deli and loving it, I had to try it when I visited Israel, Jordan, and Morocco. I searched diligently for this dish and, after trying dozens of versions in the Middle East, I have concluded that Harvest Deli has the best shashuka in the world! That's right, this dell in Vancouver, Canada, of all places, has the best shashuka in the world!The chili and many other sandwiches are also excellent.Most recently, Harvest had a duck confit special. It was the best that I ever had, better than those at fancy restaurants. The Moroccan chickpea soup was also brought back temporarily. We had this soup regularly when we first came to Harvest over a decade ago. It was delicious and brought back good memories.My wife and I come here every week because we cannot resist the excellent food.“

“I bought my Burger combo shortly after the lunchtime rush, it took them 10 minutes to fry up my Chicken Sandwich with a side of French Fries. The French Fries remind me of the ones from the Costco food court, that was quite a pleasant surprise. The ketchup packages and napkins provided was perfect, literally did not have any left over.As for the Chicken Burger, it resembles similar flavors as any Chinese Fried Chicken Burger. The burger does not taste as oily as it looks.I will be back to try out other parts of their menu but it seems that generally the portions are quite generous.“
“This is the sandwich you have been searching for, or at least the one I have been ... for years. I tried the classic deli, large size. When they say large they mean it. This sub was a monster! I could only eat half and had the other half for later! These subs are STACKED, they even hollow out the bread a bit to get that perfect not too much bread to ingredient ratio. It's the perfect amount of sauce and meat and delicious cheese. The spicy red pepper relish wasn't too spicy but still gave really great flavour. Garlic mayo? Yes please.If you haven't tried, YOU MUST! The only downside is they are only open 11-6:30. So you must think in advance for when you inevitably get a late night craving!I'm going to go get another one right now“

I remember when it used to be across the street (in a building before the giant condo tower) and the subs were $3... ahhh the nostalgia alone makes me happy. “This is my favourite spot for banh mi, primarily because they use a spicy sauce instead of jalapeños to add flavour to their sandwiches. I don't like green peppers but love spicy food, so these guys are perfect. They have good portions at reasonable prices, and they've recently expanded their menu to include more types of dishes. The only thing that could be improved is if they had slightly more comfy seating, but it's a small joint so it's better not to spend too much time sitting down anyway.“
