“Heard allot about this place and the images of their donuts look amazing…so I went to take look myself.Well they didn’t let me down, donuts look even better in person, and a good size donuts. Not only fancy designed, but delicious, the dough is nice and fluffy, not chewing like you find in other places…which in my opinion set them apart.“
“Their traditional donuts are the best in town!!! I’m giving them three stars because delivery only serves “bakers choice” meaning you can’t select the donuts you want…that’s terrible. Otherwise service at the donut shop is quick and friendly!!!“
“Wanted to see what all the fuss was about. We have never tried Canele before. Soft on the inside crispy and caramel like on the out. Tasted a little burnt, not sure if that is how it is supposed to be. The apple Canele was better than the black sesame. The passion fruit donut was very good.“
“Update: I would like to apologize for the error of my ways l. I had misunderstood the $1.20 charge on my beverage was for upsizing to size large.I always receive amazing service at Breka, but the owners should reconsider gouging their customers on their $1.00 cup fee - especially when 20% of the time the take-out cups leak. Not cool, Breka“
“Cute Korean cafe near Robson and Denman. They have a nice selection of pastries, a bit on the sweet side. The selection of teas and coffees are quite varied, beyond the typical latte and cappuccino The ambiance is chill and intimate; this is the right spot for a casual date or catching up with friends. For me, it just hit the spot as I was looking for a space to feel anonymous and relaxed.“
“This place is great. Grab some spicy chicken, a chicken and potato salad, a box of mixed donuts, and a chicken sandwich ( without banana peppers) and you're golden. Obviously other items are also delicious. It's unpretentious, straight forward, and worth the money because they charge an actual reasonable amount for the quality.“
“49th Parallel is one of my favourite coffee shops located in Kitsilano. The coffee tastes delicious, they carry tons of snack options. The staff is super friendly. They’re busy all the time (some times do expect line up)Keep it up guys!Highly recommended.“
“I’ve gotten cartems many times over the years and their classic Earl grey donut is my favourite - it is packed with earl grey flavour. Secondly I would recommend their London Fog or Vanilla Bean. The donuts are not overly sweet and have a great texture (either fluffy or dense depending on the type). They always have new monthly specials and the flavours are creative and unique sometimes (like black sesame or mango). This location particularly I visited recently and the staff are friendly and kind & they even give away samples to try and unsold remaining donuts to customers near the end of the day. Delicious donuts either way but also perfect for my vegan and GF friends / family.“
“It was really a wonderful experience I never give rating to any stores. But this one I know I had to give it because of the service that they provided. The lady who worked in the morning shift on 26th I don't know how to thank her. Well the food is also so good here. Must Visit place for sure. And also thank you for adding a note of Birthday wishes.“
“When you have a donut craving, and your in the Mt.Pleasant neighbourhood, Lucky’s is the place to go. I’ve NEVER had a cinnamon roll/bun as good as theirs. But before anyone starts comparing or arguing, this is how I like my Cinnamon rolls, BiG and with the top ingredient being ‘lots of cinnamon’! Lucky’s rings the winning bell! And not hiding under a trowel load of icing sugar, in fact Lucky’s does just enough to decorate; That’s the way I like it.49th Parallel coffee has got the right partner in the house, you make a GREAT TEAM!“
“I absolutely love their PB&J donut! Their Mocha was really good and I could tell it was made out of real chocolate and not just a machine chocolate. I must say though, I have seen flies flying around their chocolate donuts unfortunately.“
“Tried for the first time today. We got half dozen box with glazed x2, sesame x2, HK milk tea x1, and salted brown butter x1. When they hand it to you, it’s still warm. The donuts were lightly crispy and chewy. They were all delicious. Would definitely order again!“
“The donuts at this spot are a game-changer – they've nailed the recipe for creating treats that are satisfyingly sweet without going overboard, making each bite a delicious experience. What really adds to the charm is how incredibly friendly the staff are. They welcome everyone with open arms and bright smiles, making you feel right at home from the moment you step in. It's this combination of great eats and warm hospitality that sets them apart.Another bonus is their hours. In a world where most coffee shops close their doors early, this gem stays open until 7pm. This makes it the perfect spot for those late-afternoon cravings or for grabbing a quick, comforting bite after a long day.So, if you're in the mood for some delectable donuts and a cozy atmosphere, definitely give this place a try. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's a spot that promises not just a treat for your taste buds but also a warm and welcoming environment.“
