“So we are local and have been getting these donuts for years now from JJ Bean locations (usually daily/weekly)...as of today, May 2026, with the consistency and quality since I first tried years ago, Neate is hands down the best donuts you can get in western Canada. I know tastes are subjective and all that, especially with donuts, but these guys are no joke. First of all, the Maple Cranberry Scone (which needs to be just a mainstay permanently in the donut collection) is literally the best scone/baked good I've had in my life. No, I'm not exaggerating, it is absolutely incredible. Just so so so flavorful bursting with all natural cranberry tartness and pecan maple moistness it's Michelin star level stuff here. Second, any donut you get is incredible, from old fashioned (salted caramel is like moms fudge there's nothing artificial about these flavors and ingredients), to Razzle Dazzle (so good, no seeds in the jelly, it's like Lucky's berry Berliner filling compote but no seeds, just incredible), and I went for the Banana Cream Pie yesterday, let me tell you, that was so good, you could hate Banana Cream pie and absolutely love this donut. So so so so so so good, the cream is heaven, the cookie crunch is over the moon, the extra dollup of cream on top of amazing, the donut on its own with none of these components would just be an absolute pleasure to eat. Like I can't overstate this enough, just go to any JJ bean or here and get a donut (the main St location JJBean seems to have them a lot and a good rotating selection), you'll see what I mean once you take that first bite. This is my mainstay, and I literally at this point won't get another donut (or scone) from anywhere else, because it's just not worth it if I can't get Neate. It's that good, that consistent in quality and taste, that organic and non artificial tasting, that incredible. Vancouver support Neate if you want our city to have World Class donuts. Seriously, I may just do a YouTube video comparing all the donuts in the Lower Mainland to these guys, that's how good they are. They are an 11. Every one else is a 7.8-8 at best. All the way down to the details, they give you a proper box for each donut to ensure cream and icing doesnt get stuck to some cheap paper. Again, not exaggerating. If you don't like Neate donuts, you either totally got the wrong one to your tastes, or you just don't have a sophisticated enough pallet for donuts or the life experience to understand pastry. Stop reading this and go now, that's what I'm doing. Beat you there.“

“was buying starbucks' true north blonde roast for awhile. my place of work brews the veranda blend where i got introduced to light roast coffee. had no idea blonde roast even existed to be honest. noticed 49th parallel had a light roast variety of their own. bought a bag of epic espresso just to sample it but i keep coming back for more. excellent coffee and my new favorite ! ☕“

Atmosphere: pretty quick lines and orderly any time I’ve been there. Clean and organized pastry case.

Some Timmie’s you go into you feel a little haunted while ordering but Hammy doesn’t feel that here. We tried the newer timbits they were really good, not so much the Canada timbit with the popping candy on the outside…candy and desserts don’t mix…ever. We enjoyed on the outside sitting area which is perfect for people watching and enjoying the sun.
