Good prices and really good portions- from amount of meat, lots of cheese, perfect amount of sauce and the foccasia... so, so good. Service was also beyond top notch. “Solid ratio of goat cheese to guava, been sold out 2 times I’ve attempted to go. Annabelle’s gets pretty busy despite being a small shop, they have outside seating they set up which seems very lively. The service has been friendly every time I’ve been and they got options for people with dietary restrictions which is great.“

“I come here to work on my laptop and write, and there's a lovely atmosphere for that. But don't skimp on their cafe offerings while you're here. There is a chocolate brownie that is so good it's utterly insane. Their Canadiano is also very clean and well done and I highly recommend it.“

“Traveling from out of the country and wanted to get something sweet. Stopped here and this place is incredible. We walked in and the woman behind the counter made us feel like she was welcoming us into her home. We explained our situation and she gave us a TON of recommendations and even told us about stuff to see in the area. The dessert itself was sweet, but not over the top. It was tremendous. You can the taste the care and attention to detail in every bite. Cant reccomend enough. Will be back!“

“I’ve been a regular customer for a long time but recently I ordered a wedding cake from Tanya. She listened to my vision and created a beautiful masterpiece for my intimate wedding. I also had to transport it on the ferry and she had it packaged so well, it arrived in one piece. From cake tasting to pickup, it was all very seamless and of course the cake tasted amazing. We chose the lemon olive oil gateau which tasted bright and not too rich. We’ll definitely order again when we have another occasion.“

“It was almost closing time and cakes were only limited. I wanted to buy a mango cake for my daughter’s birthday but there’s no mango cake at the time. Owner made us for a mango cake just in 10 minutes and it was really yummy and good portion for my daughter. Thank you so much for everything!“

“I got the hojicha latte with oat milk and half sweet and an egg tart. It was pretty good, the hojicha flavor was there and nice but I like it to be a strong roasty flavor. The egg tart was yummy, custardy and crispy. I got it warmed up but it wasn't warm all the way in the center, it was still good though.

I went in the afternoon and they had a limited selection of pastries so I suggest going earlier for more selection of croissants, cheesecake and pastries. Staff are nice. They have open seating with big windows, nice space and atmosphere“

I am mostly disappointed in the fruit cakes, like The Mango, which is basically white chocolate with mango puree and it does not taste good at all.
Otherwise, great pastries and drinks and the place looks cool.“

“a friend and i went on a busy day. our orders came out pretty quickly. considering it’s breka, that to me is great! friend got the hot chocolate and sandwich while i got the iced tea and panna cotta.

can’t say anything about what my friend got, but i enjoyed the panna cotta! strawberry puree was sweet and the iced tea was brewed well.“

“It’s a really nice place with a great variety of pastries and cakes. The cakes are light and delicate. The cream in cakes is actually real cream, it doesn't taste like some kind of substitute made with egg whites, butter milk,.... It has a nice texture and a natural taste. The cakes aren’t overly sweet or loaded with sugar, and the variety is very good.

The sandwiches are delicate and are usually made with fresh bread and fresh ingredients. I normally buy sandwiches there, and except for two occasions(it smelled a bit stale and had an unpleasant, slightly slimy texture), my experience has been good.

“After going to the Vancouver Art Gallery, I saw the Faubourg Cafe across the street. When I went inside I was surprised at how cute and cozy it was. I absolutely loved the decor especially the chandeliers. If you are ever downtown please go there and try the peach croissant. You won’t be disappointed. 🥐“

“We were looking for a quick lunch and saw the bakery. I had no idea what we were walking into! I hope someone opens one in Victoria! We had a yummy sandwich, I have a delicious eclair and coffee! I will watch for them whenever I go over!“
