“Annabelle’s is one of my favourite cafes ever!
The interior is beautifully decorated (designed and built by Annabelle and her partner I believe), and the coffee is delicious, I loved the iced americano! The hojicha latte my friend got was also really good, saying this as a hojicha hater. The pastries were also yummy, especially the guava goat cheese hand pie.
I arrived around an hour before closing on a rainy day so it was pretty slow and had the opportunity to chat with Annabelle! She is so lovely and you can tell that all the regulars love her!
I highly recommend coming to Annabelle’s if you are in the area!“

“Worst owner to deal with. She will ignore you and instead of assisting you, calls you indecisive even though you are giving her your business... Honestly, she's the worst at any customer service and doesn't take accountability. Also, the cakes are mediocre at best.“

“I love the ciabatta and baguettes at Benchmark! However I may stop going there because I get embarrassed every time it's time to pay. I'm passed the pos machine and I have to chose what tip I'm supposed to pay. A couple of times I tipped but didn't feel right about it on my way out the door. Now I don't tip but feel cheap while the very pleasant and helpful staff is waiting for the pos machine back. I'm sorry but I have just been passed a few buns and if I start tipping at the bakery for such a short service then should I start tipping everywhere else that store staff just passes me something.“

“I am so glad I decided to give this bakery a try! The rum cake is one of the best I’ve had, it was full of flavour and the cake was very moist. Also tried the tiramisu and it was equally as great, the creamy part was light and fluffy! We will be back to try more cakes!“

I used to buy fresh cakes and pastries and at the same time I would get some frozen stuffs, buns and cakes etc.
Yesterday at Broadway location, I was told again that their refrigerator was out of order, no frozen stuff at all. I questioned it's been long time and not yet repaired but no explanation. It's so ridiculous, how could a cake shop not repair the refrigerator for so long and I think that should be fixed at the first priority.
Not sure the staff said so in order not to let customers to purchase their frozen stuff.“

“I’ve been a regular customer for a long time but recently I ordered a wedding cake from Tanya. She listened to my vision and created a beautiful masterpiece for my intimate wedding. I also had to transport it on the ferry and she had it packaged so well, it arrived in one piece. From cake tasting to pickup, it was all very seamless and of course the cake tasted amazing. We chose the lemon olive oil gateau which tasted bright and not too rich. We’ll definitely order again when we have another occasion.“

“I’ve been going here for years. It’s a great meeting spot if you want a coffee and sweet and they have awesome homemade hot soup for a rainy day! Yummy!

Wheelchair accessibility: My friend was in a wheelchair and there is accessibility to the bathroom but you have to go out the front and ride to the second floor to get back inside. But it works!“

“Just hit up Faubourg Art Gallery - what a vibe! Those French B&W movies videos on the wall? Totally cool. Pastries were spot-on, not sugar bombs like some places. Staff? Super chill and friendly. If you're after killer croissants and pastries, this is your jam. Oh, and their latte? Straight-up delicious. Definitely worth checking out!“
