“I found out about this dessert shop because my friend bought Liuhe’s layer cake for her birthday. It was so delicious that I wanted to repurchase it.
This is my first time to dine in the store. It is worth mentioning that the clerk was very friendly throughout the process, and explained the products in detail and patiently, so that I, who has a selective disorder, can decide what to eat more quickly!
This time I tried the Italian ice cream that is limited to the burnaby store!
As a result, not only the cake was delicious, but the ice cream was also delicious. In addition to the variety of flavors, the taste is very natural and fresh, and tea-flavored ice cream is not common. Friends who like tea should not miss it~
In addition, there is also a Ferrero Rocher flavor! The degree of reduction is really high, and it makes you feel happy when you eat it!
Overall, the dining environment in the store is spacious and comfortable, the staff's service attitude is friendly, and the cakes and ice cream are delicious. It is a dessert shop that will make people come back again, and I hope it will continue to be so!

“I ordered a Tiramisu Crêpe Cake as a birthday cake for a family member, and it was absolutely fantastic.

The cake was beautifully layered, with the perfect balance of flavors—rich but not overpowering. The texture was light, and the subtle hint of coffee added a delightful depth that really brought out the tiramisu flavor. Everyone enjoyed the cake!

“Any of the double baked croissants are amazing! Fav is the matcha almond and almond itself!!! Most generous filling of all the almond croissants I've tried! Never knew double baked could be this good! Staff is super friendly and remembers my favs.“

“This is truly my favorite bakery in Vancouver. They have a wide variety of products and the prices are really cheap. It's a little disappointing that they only accept cash, but I go often to enjoy the friendliness of the staff and the delicious bread.

Parking: It is convenient to park near Metrotown T&T and walk.

Kid-friendliness: Infants are allowed, but the bakery is a bit narrow to push a stroller!“

“Business is located inside metrotown mall, on the food court area, 2nd floor. Establishment provides pastries shaped into fish and bears, as other cutesy things. Take out only, no seating.

Service was quick, staff are friendly and welcoming.

Have to disclose that my purchase was via Too Good To Go. The food however were good, so I would expect they would taste even better to order.“

“Annabelle’s is one of my favourite cafes ever!
The interior is beautifully decorated (designed and built by Annabelle and her partner I believe), and the coffee is delicious, I loved the iced americano! The hojicha latte my friend got was also really good, saying this as a hojicha hater. The pastries were also yummy, especially the guava goat cheese hand pie.
I arrived around an hour before closing on a rainy day so it was pretty slow and had the opportunity to chat with Annabelle! She is so lovely and you can tell that all the regulars love her!
I highly recommend coming to Annabelle’s if you are in the area!“

“It was my first time trying this bakery and to be honest, I loved the flavor and quality!!
My favorite was the salty stuffies (I had one with egg, cheese, and spinach). But the one with Nutella was incredible. The little stuffies are a beautiful presentation perfect for a gift and to share. The place was clean, and the staff was very friendly and fast. Something that I like about the company is that they have a program for food waste! Bravo 🙌“

“Cake was really very good i dont have picture of cake suddenly the tape was not properly taped and the cake slipped from my hand its okay i got cake in 3 hours egg less I appreciate there efforts and they make it but things happen so we just cut that cake and ate cake was super delicious even birthday boy like it thanks“

“I love the ciabatta and baguettes at Benchmark! However I may stop going there because I get embarrassed every time it's time to pay. I'm passed the pos machine and I have to chose what tip I'm supposed to pay. A couple of times I tipped but didn't feel right about it on my way out the door. Now I don't tip but feel cheap while the very pleasant and helpful staff is waiting for the pos machine back. I'm sorry but I have just been passed a few buns and if I start tipping at the bakery for such a short service then should I start tipping everywhere else that store staff just passes me something.“

“Buns cakes and pastries are pretty good and tasty.
I used to buy fresh cakes and pastries and at the same time I would get some frozen stuffs, buns and cakes etc.
Yesterday at Broadway location, I was told again that their refrigerator was out of order, no frozen stuff at all. I questioned it's been long time and not yet repaired but no explanation. It's so ridiculous, how could a cake shop not repair the refrigerator for so long and I think that should be fixed at the first priority.
Not sure the staff said so in order not to let customers to purchase their frozen stuff.“

“I’ve been a regular customer for a long time but recently I ordered a wedding cake from Tanya. She listened to my vision and created a beautiful masterpiece for my intimate wedding. I also had to transport it on the ferry and she had it packaged so well, it arrived in one piece. From cake tasting to pickup, it was all very seamless and of course the cake tasted amazing. We chose the lemon olive oil gateau which tasted bright and not too rich. We’ll definitely order again when we have another occasion.“
