Banana leaf in South Surrey is one of the best restaurants in town. It hits every mark. Quality food, great atmosphere and even better prices. The food is absolutely amazing. From the roti to the satay to the eggplant friess I can not say enough about how delicious everything is. Also there 7 course lunch menu for $29 is unbeatable in value and flavour. We had dinner yesterday at the restaurant with our good friends. The service and food was outstanding. We started with the appetizer sampler. The rendang beef curry, lobster and pineapple fried rice were fantastic!. We also enjoyed the wine.Really can’t wait to go back which will be sooner than later.

We usually go to Banana Leaf on Broadway and Willow but decided to try the new location in South Surrey as it is closer to home for us.Parking is plentiful since the restaurant is located in Surrey Mall right across from Cactus Club. We did not make reservations. I understand that they charge a fee for reservations. The restaurant is very modern and has high ceilings.
