“Excellent everything! We split a salad, I had the carpaccio, he had the burger, we shared the panna cotta. Atmosphere, service, food, wine, patio, price point = perfection. Highly recommend.“

“Pretty good. Had a meeting in the area and went in for a quick bite. Tried the lamb, it was cooked pretty well. Upgraded to a combo for $4.50 more rather than buying steamed rice for $1.50. They obviously know what they are doing as the dishes look amazing.“

“Boiling Point is a staple of the Vancouver food scene for hot pot, well known for serving over an open flame to keep the soup, as the name says, boiling hot!

The food is great with generous portion sizes. The beef hot pot had a fragrant broth with a healthy amount of meat. You have an option of rice or vermicelli. With recent price increases, you pay between $22-$26 per dish for dinner before tax. Of note, they do not accept AMEX.

The servers come by often to provide additional broth as needed. The service generally is attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere of this location is a bit drab with minimal decor to go with the concrete floors. Despite the name, it doesn’t exude a warm environment. Overall, this remains a great place to get a hot bowl of your favourite hot pot and spend time with friends.“
