“I have been going here for a few years now and it is one of my go to comfort food spots. If you want some of the best tasting Phở, this is the place to go. My recommendation would be their spring rolls, combo 2, pho steak and brisket with beef balls or their grilled chicken on rice. They have a spectacular bubble tea and drink list. Absolutely would recommend this spot.“

“This is strictly a take out place. We got two different bahn mi sandwiches and the sugarcane juice. So good. A lot of people came for pickups, so i'll order ahead next time. But the bread was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The meat and ingredients were fresh and well balanced. The place was clean and they sold frozen food too.“

First visit I went with the beef rib pho. The protein to noodle ratio was exactly what you want, you're not just digging through broth hoping to find something underneath. My wife had the banh mi and she's had a lot of banh mi. She said it was one of the best she's ever had. Perfect crunch on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. We also tried the salted lemon drink which was incredibly refreshing, definitely add it to your order.

Enjoyed it so much we came back the same evening. I went for the beef ribs this time, generous portion and cooked perfectly. Tender without being dry, which most places honestly can't pull off.

We also got to meet the owner and her daughter. Super kind, warm, great energy. You can feel the care they put into this place.

Family owned restaurants like this deserve all the love. We'll be back for sure.“

“I’ve had a lot of pho but Kim Hoang has the best pho in the lower mainland, maybe even the province. From what I understand, it’s been around forever, so you know it’s good. Everyone has their favourite spots, but the depth of flavour in the broth alone is incredible. Their portions are generous in all aspects (meat, noodles, broth, and toppings) and each serving is consistent. I come here all the time, and sometimes I’ll drive 40 minutes each way because the places by my work just don’t cut it (and nowhere else serves fish balls). The smell of warm broth smacks you across the face right when you walk in, and the interior is cozy and always impeccably clean (although a little dated but why fix what ain’t broke). The staff are so incredibly kind and if you are in the area it is so worth the stop.“

They don’t put a ton of oily red satay in there causing it to be too spicy without a deeper flavour but there is just the perfect level of spice; you just have to experience it to know what I’m talking about. The pork blood and pork hock make it all the more authentically homestyle.“

“yummm my parents were craving bun mam so we came out here to give it a try! i got the sour soup with caramelized pork- the rice was amazingly fluffy, sour soup was super good and caramelized pork was sooo crispy and nice. smelled like a dream.

“I recently had a bowl of pho at Pho Tau Bay and it was a solid, comforting experience. The broth was clear and flavorful without being overly salty, which is always a good sign. You can taste that it’s been simmered properly. The beef was tender, and the meatballs had a nice, firm texture.

They served it with a generous portion of fresh bean sprouts, and the herbs added a nice freshness when mixed in. I also appreciated the sauces on the side—especially the chili oil, which gave the soup a nice kick.

I tried the shrimp paste on the cane sugar stick, the deep-fried squid with spicy salt and pepper, and two noodle soups. “Very nice owner. My son bought a sandwich but didn't realized that there is peanut sauce in it which he is mildly allergic for and didn't ask about it prior ordering. The owner lady made him an extra sandwich without it for free of charge. Sandwiches are pretty tasty and crunchy, would definitely return.“

“Hello there.. I had the salad rolls, the ones with rice wrapts, shrimp and noodles, and cilantro and they were excellent!!!, along with the tasty peanut sauce to go with it. I figured why not order the fried rolls and take them home. A wonderful snack for later on. This place is incredible with the food so fresh, you can experience the freshness when you walk into this lovely sit down restaurant. Service is great too! Keep up the good work Pho 99!!!!“

“My only critique would be to give your customers a few minutes to look the menu over to decide what they want after giving them the menu instead of asking a minute after you've given them the menu.
