“The pho was amazing! I had the house special and the broth was incredibly rich and flavourful. You can tell that the ingredients they use are fresh and fragrant. I finished every last drop haha. The staff treat you like family and they really take the time to make sure you’re well taken care of. Can’t wait to go back!“
“This is a 5/5 stars ? %! If it’s this good next time…cos I DEFINITELY returning, then I give it a 6/5! It’s that flippen goood!I had the vegan pho and the crispy Chow Mein. It’s epic in every way!Honestly, i don’t want to post more because it will get to busy and I’ll have to wait!A fellow dinner, even asked me if I wanted to try one they’re Sautéed Garlic Beef balls! Geez it was just incredible ( let alone the fact that this dude offered me to taste it!) that’s the kind of place this is! CREATIVELY BRILLANT !Love this place and love the vibe it creates! The Essence of vegan is here!“
“I'm glad my friend suggested coming here for Banh mi. Otherwise I'd never have known the actual entrance is on Newton street, not kingsway. I've driven past it when traveling on kingsway and always wondered where I can park. Now I know, on Newton where there is a small parking lot outside the shop. The place is clean and bright, with tables for 2 along the narrow walkway. Maybe around 3-4 tables total? Most people do take out here. We had the halal lemongrass chicken banh mi and it was very tasty. Unfortunately as with most Banh mi, I'd get hungry after a couple of hours even though I was full after devouring it.“
“Definitely a hole in the wall, family owned place. Whoever wrote a review saying it feels like you're eating in someone's home? Pretty accurate.I don't know if there's better value for money in the lower mainland. Where else can you get flavourful lemongrass chicken for under $15?? Food was tasty, hot, and quick. Service was friendly and helpful. No complaints, and we'll definitely be back ?“
“We tried this place out during Bite of Burnaby and we were blown away at how good this place is. We tried the fried frog legs, crab soup noodle, chicken on rice and vietnamese ice coffee. All the food were incredibly delicious. The portions were also generous. The flavor of their food is unique and I would go back to try other items on their menu next time. The staff there were very friendly. The restaurant also has a great atmosphere and felt clean. Not your typical vietnamese restaurant experience.“
“My friend suggested we try it out as we were walking to my favourite restaurant a few stores down. Glad I did. Food was delicious and prices are good. Service was great and waitress was very nice and attentive. What was different was they have a few dishes I've never seen before like Deep Fried Pork Sausage Rolls and Ultimate Spring Roll in Salad Roll Definitely going back with family and friends.“
“The pho is not bad, price is reasonable and lots of meat inside. We come here once in a while and really appreciate the size and the price. Can’t get this size and price in Richmond. The soup base is actually quite good! Can’t complain!“
“Deliciously crunchy chicken wings are a must-try at this pho 99! The short ribs on rice were absolutely delicious, and the hot plate of Vietnamese banh mi was a refreshing addition to my Vietnamese food order. The service was top-notch as well. Highly recommend for a flavorful dining experience!“
“Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pho and the amount of food you get for the price.I got 3 veggie rolls, a bowl of pho, and a bubble tea (also surprisingly good!) for $22 before tax.The rice noodles were cooked just right and the broth was nicely balanced between being salty and sweet with the herbal flavour you'd want. Lots of meat too.Happy hour runs from 11 am to 5 pm so we got an additional discount for our bill. Our server was friendly and the decor is nice so that was a bonus.“
“Must come for authentic Vietnamese food!I tried the bun rieu, fried fish cake, and their coffee with condensed milk and ice. My friend tried their house special rice noodle in soup. He really liked the variety of meats in the soup (pork, shrimp, squid ball, and imitation crab). I thought the bun rieu was delicious, it was nice and hearty on that cold day. (Note: if you don't like tomato or crab, bun rieu is not for you but if you do, you may have just found your favorite dish) The portion was a good amount of food and by the end of dinner, I felt so full. I also tried the fried fish cake which were quite flavorful. The coffee with condensed milk and ice was good too and kept me energized through the rest of the night. As the shop isn't too big, there may be a wait if you come during busy times. The shop is pretty efficient though in getting customers through their meals. The ambiance is alright and it's typical of your standard Vietnamese restaurant.Note: they are cash or debit only so be sure to bring cash or debit card“
“I always stop by when I'm craving pho and when I feel too lazy to cook dinner. Delicious every time, very friendly service, and extremely clean and inviting atmosphere. If you enjoy a big bowl of pho, I definitely recommend this location.“
“Don't come here! Here's why- The food is good you're going to want to come here all the time and ruin your diet!I had the rare beef, brisket and tendon pho. The broth is tasty on its own there's no need for the sauces! Would definitely be back again and try different dishes.“
“This is my family's go to Pho restaurant in Burnaby. Portions are big and service has always been very top notch (The owner is very attentive). I always get the Beef Number One Special here and it has always been consistently good. I've had pho at other places, but this one stands out the most and I can't figure out what it is that makes their Pho so good. If I could give 6 stars, I would.“
“I go down there when I can to Pho 101 they have good meals there. I always get the same meal Chicken Vermicelli. They do their chicken well and is tasty. It's really good. The barbecue Chicken is mouth-watering. The vinegar sauce or fish sauce is really good as well.Vegetarian options: They have a few vegetarian dishes, not very many by a few.Parking: You can park on the street. That's about it or you can go park down the alley or on the one of the side streets.Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly because they got pop and slurpees. With fruit field Slurpees. They also have a nice decor for the kids to look at. They also have a nice décor for the kids to look at a Smiling BuddhaOr Laughing Buddha.“
“PHO H&P has become our go-to Vietnamese restaurant after another restaurant became a disappointment. The pho broth is rich and tastes authentic. No hint of msg, which is a plus for us. The pho noodles is cooked just right, and the restaurant is generous in giving out toppings.Definitely worth a try with its affordable prices.***Post a review on Google and get a free beverage. This is an honest review though. Not influenced by the free beverage.***“
