“We went to this Vietnamese Vegan Restaurant tucked away unobtrusively in the "sleepy "Crest Strip Mall in Burnaby /New Westminister area today for lunch .
The Restaurant is owned & run by a Vietnamese Family & reportedly been around for past 21 years.
We ordered the Mixed Fried Rice, Veg Noodle, Eggplant Coconut Curry in Claypot & Spring Rolls.
All the dishes were tasty & nice -though the Eggplant curry lacked more spice & seasoning. However the Restaurant had all kinds of Chilli, Sriracha, Sweet , Plum sauces & these added to the flavour.
All dishes were freshly made & served piping hot -specially the Spring Rolls (we had 2 helpings of this dish).
Prices were reasonable & service was good, pleasing & efficient. The Restaurant is very Spartan but homely & the Toilet was kept in immaculate condition .
The only negative point I like to add is that the Rice used in the Fried Rice was a coarse variety with large grains instead of the usual Jasmine Rice. ( Indian Basmati Rice would have enhanced the flavour further).

We will return to this Restaurant again in the near future. (Restaurant closes on Sun, Mon, Tue -every week).

“This is a staple for pho near Metrotown mall. It does get very busy and there isn’t a lot of seating available so you may need to wait during busy periods

Parking is a bit tough as it’s street parking only.

For pho, they make a tasty broth and it’s very flavorful. Definitely the highlight of the meal. Not all pho is made the same and they definitely have the right mix.

This review is mainly based on the food as its interior is similar to most pho places. Definitely worth stopping by for a quick bite before a movie.“

“My friend suggested we try it out as we were walking to my favourite restaurant a few stores down. Glad I did. Food was delicious and prices are good. Service was great and waitress was very nice and attentive. What was different was they have a few dishes I've never seen before like Deep Fried Pork Sausage Rolls and Ultimate Spring Roll in Salad Roll Definitely going back with family and friends.“

“I'm always about the food. Great Value for what you pay. Our two dishes came to $36 + Tip. My friend brought me here for lunch since it's a few minutes from where he lives. This is his go to viet food when he's craving it. When you hear vietnames music playing in the background then it's as authentic as can be.“

“I've been coming to this restaurant for several years and it's literally one of the tastiest and most affordable restaurants ever. If you don't like one of their soup noodles, try something else.

I love their lemongrass chicken plates, their sandwiches, the chicken wings, the rice paper roles, and the dry noodles. They're all literally so good and good to share as well.

Yes it's cash only but it's literally so cheap. And for those complaining about tip being included in the bill, it's 10%. Literally all other restaurants these days charge 15% upward for tips and as someone who has been coming to this restaurants for years, when we try to give more than 10%, the owner literally rejects the extra so hopefully that gives you a glimpse of why there is tip added in the bill. The restaurant is literally trying to make sure the food is an affordable price without customers feeling pressured to give extra tips.

Don't let the negative reviews give a bad impression of this restaurant. It's literally one of the best hole in the wall restaurants that I can guarantee, you will find multiple items you like to eat here.“

“Been coming here consistently since they opened. A few years back they stopped taking down the orders and try to memorize it. Since then, approximately half my orders have been wrong when I eat in. Food is still good, but there is a fair chance something in your order will be missed or wrong if you dine in.

Update: came today and they got our order wrong again. It was 3 in the afternoon, not busy in the restaurant.“

“I was around the area today with my hubby and we wanted to get something for lunch. I googled and found this restaurant. We ordered the #1 Chicken Lemongrass and #7 Deluxe Classic combos (the combo comes with a spring roll and a drink - we chose pop) for 12.20 each combo...pretty good deal nowadays. While we waited for our takeout order, they provided a sample of their new milk tea, that was nice 😋

We brought the order home and we split the sandwiches. The Chicken Lemongrass had great flavour and the chicken was moist and not dry. The Deluxe Classic was our favourite, I think the seasoned extra-lean pork belly really makes the sandwich and we loved the bread...it wasn't too doughy...the sandwiches had a good proportion of bun to filling ratio. We will definitely go back and bring the kids. The kids are picky with their sandwiches, but I have a feeling they are going to love the choices!

I normally take pictures of the food before eating, but they looked and smelled too delicious...so we gobbled them up. The spring rolls were good too, maybe could be a little crispier, but they were still good 😁

The restaurant is small, I think I saw 2-3 tables and they have parking in the back.
