“Pho Ace is so good!! It’s our favourite Vietnamese restaurant. Food is consistently delicious, their Pho is really good . This last time we ordered Grilled lemongrass Chicken & Pork and Grilled lemongrass Pork & Spring rolls(pictured ) Service is excellent, the server checked in several times, lots of quality checks and very polite. The AC is delightful.

“The combo they have for 2 person is bang for your buck! Food is delicious, chicken wings is crack wings(similar to phnom phen’s). Pho and spring roll are A+. If you want a no frills good authentic viet food thats is good value, go here. Theres just an extra wait on chicken wings as they need time to get extra crispy. No pictures cause we just dug in and ate it. 😅“

“This is my go to don't feel like cooking place. Great when it's hot or cold as they have a nice selection of choices for hot weather or something to warm you up on a rainy day. Either way the food is consistently good and the prices are reasonable. As long as nothing changes, it's practically perfect!“

“This is quite far for me so I called a day ahead to check if it is open during a public holiday. It is so I proceeded to ask for a lunch reservation over the phone. When I got there, they couldn't find my reservation as it was mistakenly put down for midnight AM instead of PM😂

As far as the food, it's authentic and delicious. There's definitely some bot ngoc (msg) in it though.“

“New favorite go to spot for pho whenever im in Vancouver for sure. Found the place by fluke with one friend driving down Kingsway looking for food and served us 5mins before last call. Liked it so much i took another friend before going back to Edmonton the next day to confirm and he liked it too. I did feel bad my truck alarm kept going off cuz my dog was inside, Sorry! Best soup, noodles and meat.“

“One of my regular spots for pho. The owner is always friendly, and the food is consistently good.

Just a heads-up, the pho comes with bean sprouts already in it, and there's only one size available.

The real highlight here, though, is the wings. Try both the Spicy and Tamarind flavours. You won't regret it.“

“10/10 delicious soup! Came here because I had a lash appointment next door and saw they had my fave Bun Cha Ca. Have been back twice now because their broth is to die for. I found it heavy on the noodles first time around and would prefer more broth instead. Asked for half the noodles the second time and it was perfect. The meats and fillings are all delicious, broth is delectable and service is great! The main evening server is super friendly and seems like he loves his job. Don’t expect much in Viet restaurants but that was a nice addition. If you love specialty seafood soups, which are hard to come by, this is the spot! I’m sure everything else on the menu is great too.“

“This is strictly a take out place. We got two different bahn mi sandwiches and the sugarcane juice. So good. A lot of people came for pickups, so i'll order ahead next time. But the bread was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The meat and ingredients were fresh and well balanced. The place was clean and they sold frozen food too.“

Crispy French bread, sweet meat, can’t complain too much for $9 these days. But I will. It could have just used a lil bit more of everything, not asking a lot more, just a bit.

The server was polite and service was quick.

Atmosphere was cozy, quiet and everything I’d expect from a local mom & pop shop.

“Came here twice in the same day and that should tell you everything.

First visit I went with the beef rib pho. The protein to noodle ratio was exactly what you want, you're not just digging through broth hoping to find something underneath. My wife had the banh mi and she's had a lot of banh mi. She said it was one of the best she's ever had. Perfect crunch on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. We also tried the salted lemon drink which was incredibly refreshing, definitely add it to your order.

Enjoyed it so much we came back the same evening. I went for the beef ribs this time, generous portion and cooked perfectly. Tender without being dry, which most places honestly can't pull off.

We also got to meet the owner and her daughter. Super kind, warm, great energy. You can feel the care they put into this place.

Family owned restaurants like this deserve all the love. We'll be back for sure.“

Get their ‘special’ menu items, it’s genuinely a big cut above standard phó/vermicelli. Had number 37, I’m gonna come back and get it every time (I’m that kind of person). The portion wasn’t big but the amount of meat was generous for the size and the flavour was excellent. Well balanced and spiced and will plenty of veggies to put in as well as garlic and thai chillies on the side. Not greasy, not too salty.
It’s chill in here, I like the decor and the staff are friendly. They give you a good sized pot of tea and in general aren’t going to check up much but that’s okay with me.“

“I’ve had a lot of pho but Kim Hoang has the best pho in the lower mainland, maybe even the province. From what I understand, it’s been around forever, so you know it’s good. Everyone has their favourite spots, but the depth of flavour in the broth alone is incredible. Their portions are generous in all aspects (meat, noodles, broth, and toppings) and each serving is consistent. I come here all the time, and sometimes I’ll drive 40 minutes each way because the places by my work just don’t cut it (and nowhere else serves fish balls). The smell of warm broth smacks you across the face right when you walk in, and the interior is cozy and always impeccably clean (although a little dated but why fix what ain’t broke). The staff are so incredibly kind and if you are in the area it is so worth the stop.“

They don’t put a ton of oily red satay in there causing it to be too spicy without a deeper flavour but there is just the perfect level of spice; you just have to experience it to know what I’m talking about. “I love a decent hole in a wall place, but most Viet restaurants are like that. Matches the vibe back in Vietnam. The pho broth is rich and flavourful. Packed with spices. The mung portions were decent. The food is on the sweeter side and the fish sauce is a bit light. Vermicelli a bit loose. Other than that it was good. Spring roll is the traditional big type. It is extra for more bean sprouts on the side. The pho comes with some in the bowl. Overall I thought it was a decent place to fix a hungry stomach. The place is running on fans so it'll get hot during the Summer
