“Good food good music good vibes! Grilled chicken bahn mi sandwich, spicy beef noodle pho, seafood pho, grilled shrimp vermicelli with vegetarian spring roll, chicken salad roll and shrimp salad roll plus avocado smoothie and caramel flan were the best! Very nice ambiance, we loved the jazz music in the background and the wash rooms were so clean! The servers were nice as well. Thank you Mr. Pho! Travelling from Vancouver to PoCo was so worth it! We’ll be back for sure. 👍 👍👍“

“Food is good but I happened to notice the owner mistreating a courier because the courier did not know his mother didn't speak English. Courier was friendly and collected and totally disregarded the abuse, however I didn't like what I saw and both, my wife and myself are not coming back to this place.“

“I have lived in the area for YEARS and have never been here. I have no idea why.. but today I decided to give it a shot. I was not disappointed. When I walked in I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was inside. When you compare to other nearby Pho restaurants, this almost fancy haha! It's clean and well-maintained. I ordered a chicken salad roll and a number 3, beef pho with steak and brisket. The broth was clean, tasty and not even slightly greasy. The bowl full.. I couldn't finish all the noodles, but I did eat all the beef and I'm stuffed. The portion of meat was very generous! I was so full of soup, I didn't get to eat very much of the salad roll but the one bite I had was fantastic and the rest is coming home for lunch tomorrow. The waiter was fast and friendly. I like this place and I think its my new go-to spot. Oh ya, I almost forgot, when I went to pay.. it was about $10 less than I thought it was going to be.“

“We ordered 3 entrees and a soup. Everything came out hot, quickly, and large serving sizes. Curry with rice was flavorful and the perfect spice level. The pork charcoal chicken and rice had a great spice blend too. The chow mein had all 3 meats and lots of veg. The won ton soup was great too.“

First visit I went with the beef rib pho. The protein to noodle ratio was exactly what you want, you're not just digging through broth hoping to find something underneath. My wife had the banh mi and she's had a lot of banh mi. She said it was one of the best she's ever had. Perfect crunch on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. We also tried the salted lemon drink which was incredibly refreshing, definitely add it to your order.

Enjoyed it so much we came back the same evening. I went for the beef ribs this time, generous portion and cooked perfectly. Tender without being dry, which most places honestly can't pull off.

We also got to meet the owner and her daughter. Super kind, warm, great energy. You can feel the care they put into this place.

Family owned restaurants like this deserve all the love. We'll be back for sure.“

“This is strictly a take out place. We got two different bahn mi sandwiches and the sugarcane juice. So good. A lot of people came for pickups, so i'll order ahead next time. But the bread was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The meat and ingredients were fresh and well balanced. The place was clean and they sold frozen food too.“

“This is by far the best Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to in the lower mainland. The service was excellent, within 10 minutes of being seated we ordered and were served our bowls. The portions was sizeable and filling, definitely worth the price. The ambiance of the restaurant was also beautiful. I recommend anyone who’s got a hankering for a good hot bowl of pho to come here. I will definitely be coming back!!“

“yummm my parents were craving bun mam so we came out here to give it a try! i got the sour soup with caramelized pork- the rice was amazingly fluffy, sour soup was super good and caramelized pork was sooo crispy and nice. smelled like a dream.

other thing i would recommend is the avocado smoothie!!! texture was a dream and you hear them make it fresh!“

“My go-to spot in Surrey for authentic, richly flavoured Bun Bo Hue. They don’t put a ton of oily red satay in there causing it to be too spicy without a deeper flavour but there is just the perfect level of spice; you just have to experience it to know what I’m talking about. The pork blood and pork hock make it all the more authentically homestyle.“

We’ve been on the hunt for a new-to-us phó restaurant since the 2 closest to our area closed.

This was recommended by locals and did not disappoint.
Service was prompt with tea and menus right away.
Our soups came fairly quickly, the DF chicken wings understandably a little longer.
Everything was hot as it should be, condiments in little containers (2 of each) with the sprouts, basil and sliced jalapeño.

“Very nice owner. My son bought a sandwich but didn't realized that there is peanut sauce in it which he is mildly allergic for and didn't ask about it prior ordering. The owner lady made him an extra sandwich without it for free of charge. Sandwiches are pretty tasty and crunchy, would definitely return.“

I got the wonton+egg noodles Large and my boyfriend got a beef ball soup. We traded back and forth a bit with the broth. Both were awesome. “Hello there.. I had the salad rolls, the ones with rice wrapts, shrimp and noodles, and cilantro and they were excellent!!!, along with the tasty peanut sauce to go with it. I figured why not order the fried rolls and take them home. A wonderful snack for later on. This place is incredible with the food so fresh, you can experience the freshness when you walk into this lovely sit down restaurant. Service is great too! Keep up the good work Pho 99!!!!“
