I'm glad my friend suggested coming here for Banh mi. Otherwise I'd never have known the actual entrance is on Newton street, not kingsway. I've driven past it when traveling on kingsway and always wondered where I can park. Now I know, on Newton where there is a small parking lot outside the shop. I was always sceptical about this place mainly because of the name and how many restaurants they have, but this place is pretty good. Meat and veg ratio well proportioned, and crispy baguette.
For the love of baguettes and coffee! Extra strong coffee!! I'm obsessed!Discovered them a year ago in their Surrey location while driving to whistler. It was still Covid era: it was a small takeout only location. Very small. I didn't know what to expect so I took a handful of banhmi and 2 bottles of their coffee plus a cup Togo.First of all: the price!! So reasonable! It was all I thought about in whistler!
