“I was really pleasantly surprised. It was my first time trying this place out. I had a few banking errands to do and had some time to kill so I figured I'd have a early lunch.

The food is very tasty. The service is standard. There's plenty of parking. I would definitely come back again and try other items off the menu. It's nice to have a Vietnamese option at Market Crossing!“

“Came here because I like the Victoria Dr location. It's similar but sooooo much more salty. Also the fish cakes got smaller and less generous. Still tasty though. It's a small place so prepare to wait.

Update: came back a year later and asked for less salty. Was so thirsty after I had to chug water. Why so much sodium?????“

“We've been here for multiple times. The food is great. During 6.30pm-7.30pm can be a bit crowded and took some time waiting for the food. But it is worth for waiting. We usually ordered Pho, Fish ball noodles and dried rice vermicelli noodle with Lemongrass chicken. This time we tried the Phanom Penh noodle curry and Phanom Penh seafood noodle. They're very tasty.“

Best bang for your buck I’ve realized so far comparing too others places. Personally I really really enjoy the food taste it’s very good. Atmosphere could be worked on but honestly when I’m eating the food I do not care about the flashy lights.“

“As much as I love the food, unfortunately I was never properly refunded for a missing pho soup in my order. Now I refuse to hold a grudge, I love this place and that is exactly why I give them a 4 stars. Maybe it was a problem with skip the dishes. nonetheless I am so thankful that they are a welcome and yummy pho restaurant. Great service and even better food. Just a little sad about my missing pho.“

“Every time we come to Vancouver for a visit, we always stop here for a meal. Last sunday, we were there again. It was cold outside, we were greeted with very friendly smile and offered with warm cup of tea. That felt so warm in a weather like that. We sat by the windows and we had a great bowl of soup. It was very memorable. We love the location, its close to bus stop,sky train,shopping mall and its right in downtown. We love the food there so fresh and tasty. Thank you for your wonderful service! “Definitely a Vietnamese local hot spot! This place is cash only and has only 2 menu items: chicken pho and beef pho (~$20 each). I opted for the chicken pho which was massive! It was large enough to share between 2 people. The chicken was a bit hard to eat given it was both white and dark meat on the bone. But the flavour of the broth was creamy and delicious! The service was very fast but be prepared to wait in line outside even though they have plenty of spots inside.“

“Their lemongrass chicken vermicelli + spring roll is my favourite of all the Vietnamese restaurants here on Main Street. The noodles are what I prefer (thin) and the chicken is so tasty. They even give you a good portion of sauce and chicken so you don’t have too much noodle left. I have to stop myself from ordering once a week, highly recommend!“

“Ive been coming here since 2007 or so when I used to live around the corner. It was my introduction to pho. I live in another country now, and whenever I'm in town, I have to make sure I visit. Its still just as good as it was the first time.“

“It is a pretty small place, and I almost missed it from the outside. The food was decent overall. I tried the lemongrass grilled chicken rice, and it was quite good for my taste — flavorful, not too salty, and the soup was also nicely balanced.

The service was warm and attentive, which I appreciated. Prices are reasonable, and I would be open to coming back to try some of the other dishes.“

“Was craving a bowl of pho and found this place.
It has all the classic items I like. Portion sizes are filling and affordable. Nothing fancy. You get a small plate of bean sprouts, a lime wedge 🍋‍🟩, thai basil, and different sauces (hoisin, sriracha, chilli oil).

Pho came out steaming hot. I like how the beef has a thicker cut and doesn’t have the frozen texture to it. Broth is mild with a sweet note at the end. Really appreciate the finer texture of the chilli oil. No whole seeds to get stuck in my teeth. If you’re scared of strong spices, this is the soup to get 😋 If your tastebuds are bored, add more sauce.

One thing that amuses me is when I hear customers coughing from the spice of the food. Will have to come back and try more items.“

“I've eaten Pho in 10 or 15 different countries... Pho Chan is the BEST I've ever had! I love the Pho Satay (#11) cuz it comes with peanut sauce that really mellows it out perfectly! Ban-mi (subs) are also some of the best I've ever tasted.... And once again, I've had bon-mi (??) all over the globe!“

“The pho is great. Someone the best tasting we've had. The service can be a bit spotty at times we've found, but generally they are very friendly. As for the atmosphere, well let's just say they aren't winning any awards on that front. This place is set up for function over fashion.“
