“I was really pleasantly surprised. It was my first time trying this place out. I had a few banking errands to do and had some time to kill so I figured I'd have a early lunch.
The food is very tasty. The service is standard. There's plenty of parking. I would definitely come back again and try other items off the menu. It's nice to have a Vietnamese option at Market Crossing!“

“Came here because I like the Victoria Dr location. It's similar but sooooo much more salty. Also the fish cakes got smaller and less generous. Still tasty though. It's a small place so prepare to wait.
Update: came back a year later and asked for less salty. Was so thirsty after I had to chug water. Why so much sodium?????“

“A top notch pho always begins with a great broth. The broth at Pho Long is light, delicate, with a subtle flavour, just the way I like it. The large #1 was filling with a solid amount of tendons & tripe. Service was prompt and the atmosphere gives you the classic San Jose local pho joint vibs, including Paris by Night on the big screen tv. Owned and operated by the same family for over 40 year and still thriving in a very ompetitive landscape. Find out why!“

“We've been here for multiple times. The food is great. During 6.30pm-7.30pm can be a bit crowded and took some time waiting for the food. But it is worth for waiting. We usually ordered Pho, Fish ball noodles and dried rice vermicelli noodle with Lemongrass chicken. This time we tried the Phanom Penh noodle curry and Phanom Penh seafood noodle. They're very tasty.“

“As much as I love the food, unfortunately I was never properly refunded for a missing pho soup in my order. Now I refuse to hold a grudge, I love this place and that is exactly why I give them a 4 stars. Maybe it was a problem with skip the dishes. nonetheless I am so thankful that they are a welcome and yummy pho restaurant. Great service and even better food. Just a little sad about my missing pho.“

“Every time we come to Vancouver for a visit, we always stop here for a meal. Last sunday, we were there again. It was cold outside, we were greeted with very friendly smile and offered with warm cup of tea. That felt so warm in a weather like that. We sat by the windows and we had a great bowl of soup. It was very memorable. We love the location, its close to bus stop, sky train, shopping mall and its right in downtown. We love the food there so fresh and tasty. Thank you for your wonderful service! We will visit again. 😊“

“Definitely a Vietnamese local hot spot! This place is cash only and has only 2 menu items: chicken pho and beef pho (~$20 each). I opted for the chicken pho which was massive! It was large enough to share between 2 people. The chicken was a bit hard to eat given it was both white and dark meat on the bone. But the flavour of the broth was creamy and delicious! The service was very fast but be prepared to wait in line outside even though they have plenty of spots inside.“

“This pho restaurant is a small and cozy shop, with roughly 24 seats available. The space is simple and casual, but it feels comfortable enough for a relaxed meal. Despite the limited seating, the restaurant gives off a welcoming neighborhood vibe.
We ordered a beef pho with deep-fried spring rolls, pork chop on rice, and a beef brisket stew served with a bun. Every dish arrived fresh, hot, and made to order, which immediately made a good impression.
The beef pho was comforting and flavorful, with a rich broth and tender beef slices. The accompanying deep-fried spring rolls were crispy and freshly fried, adding a nice crunchy contrast to the meal.
The pork chop on rice was also enjoyable, featuring well-marinated pork that was juicy and satisfying. Meanwhile, the beef brisket stew with bun was hearty and flavorful, with tender brisket in a rich sauce that paired very well with the soft bread.
Overall, the food quality was consistently good across all the dishes we tried. While the restaurant itself is modest in size, it delivers solid Vietnamese comfort food in a warm and casual setting.
It’s definitely a place we would drop by again when visiting the area.“

“The food is always delicious, especially the satay seafood soup, which is our favorite. This season we tried the pure orange juice with no preservatives or added sugar, and it was so refreshing and flavorful. We also loved the mango smoothie and spring rolls. The staff are always friendly even when they’re busy, and that’s one of the reasons we keep coming back.“

“Ive been coming here since 2007 or so when I used to live around the corner. It was my introduction to pho. I live in another country now, and whenever I'm in town, I have to make sure I visit. Its still just as good as it was the first time.“

“Very small restaurant but charming. The chicken pho broth and noodles (i could tell the latter was freshly-made) were both good. Broth had a great flavour but i could tell it was mostly the meat doing the heavy lifting.
The quality of the chicken was not that great... kind of chewy and stringy. If the other elements like the noodles and broth went as great, it'd be a 3 star or below.
Salad rolls were generous but lacked veggies. Great vermicelli noodles and decently good sauce as well.“

“The broth was so light and aromatic and with such a delicate flavour. It was a nice change of pace from all the salty stuff I had been eating lately. For only 12 dollars is an absolute value. I need to come back later and try some other stuff!“

“Stopped off here to try it. The pho broth was flavourful, large portions of meat and noodles. The bahn mi bread was exceptionally crusty and soft inside. Probably got the most chicken in my banh mi ever and it was tender too. Plenty of cilantro, pickled carrot and daigon. Pleasantly surprised it was filling. Would have wanted to dunk the meat in more fish sauce for more flavour. The crispiness of the chicken wings rivals some of the best I’ve ever eaten. The chicken wings stood out the most. Kudos on producing a crunchy exterior and a juicy and tender inside. Served piping hot. I’d come back for the wings alone.
Not the best looking restaurant and typical of many Pho restaurants.. not the best washroom but the service staff are friendly and nice.“
