“The service was very attentive and they do check in on you to see how you like the food. The pho was okay. I was a bit disappointed to hear that you need to pay extra if you wanted more bean sprouts for your soup as most Vietnamese places don’t charge extra for that. It was quiet inside so it’s easy to have a conversation with the company you bring. I’m glad I did try this place as it was on my list but not sure if I would consider going back as you can get way better pho for cheaper as well.“

“Food was great the pho was awesome great flavor, something a little different, but in a good way. Service was good they just lacked people so it took a little bit to have our order taken, to get water, etc. Food came out relatively quick though.“

“This was hands down the best pho I have ever tasted. The broth is incredibly savoury and meaty with a just right hint of sweetness. The portion was very generous. The staff was also accommodating of requests. I came here twice in my short two day stay in Vancouver! It really is a shame I couldn't stay longer.“

“We've been here for multiple times. The food is great. During 6.30pm-7.30pm can be a bit crowded and took some time waiting for the food. But it is worth for waiting. We usually ordered Pho, Fish ball noodles and dried rice vermicelli noodle with Lemongrass chicken. This time we tried the Phanom Penh noodle curry and Phanom Penh seafood noodle. They're very tasty.“

“I dined here with relatives who live in the area. I like visiting local spots that family enjoy, and the food here was delicious. Don't expect a fancy environment with fusion dishes, but more like warm home cooking. We had pho with beef brisket, meat balls, and tripe. Ordered a pork chop dish, shrimp spring roll, and fried spring roll.“

“Definitely a Vietnamese local hot spot! This place is cash only and has only 2 menu items: chicken pho and beef pho (~$20 each). I opted for the chicken pho which was massive! It was large enough to share between 2 people. The chicken was a bit hard to eat given it was both white and dark meat on the bone. But the flavour of the broth was creamy and delicious! The service was very fast but be prepared to wait in line outside even though they have plenty of spots inside.“

“I previously tried the #52 (Beef Rib & Brisket) and an Avocado Overload. They were pretty good, so this time l ordered the S11 (Summer Rolls) and #49 (Hue-Style Spicy Soup).
The food was delicious, and the service was friendly as well“

“An impromptu visit. A review in brief:
Food: wonton soup with a sweet(er)broth... different... I liked it. Salad roll, decent, maybe too heavy on the mint. Pork brochette, tasteless but tender. Spring roll tasty but the ground meat lacked texture. The pho we ordered was to include tendon and tripe. Both were missing. They brought the missing meats with apologies.
Service was fine by the sweet lady but she only spoke Vietnamese... not a word of English. We got by with my smattering of Vietnamese.
Atmosphere was typical of a mom and pop diner... not much. Unfortunately, the tv was playing sports highlights with the volume up... and we were the only ones there.
Price point is average... $40 for two for lunch.
Would I go back? If there were no other options, sure... but there are... plenty.“

“We had such a satisfying meal at Pho Japolo today! We ordered #16, #18, and #22, and each bowl was packed with flavor and warmth. The broth was rich and aromatic without being heavy, with that perfect balance of savory depth and freshness. The meats were tender and generous, and the noodles had just the right texture. The #16 with brisket, tendon, and tripe was comforting and hearty, while the #18 house special had a beautiful mix of everything. The #22 beef stew noodle soup was bold and fragrant, with a hint of spice that made it so addictive. Service was friendly and quick, and everything came out piping hot. We left feeling full, happy, and already talking about our next visit.“

“I was kinda of nervous about eating at this place at first after reading the reviews on here. But me and my friend decided to tried this place yesterday for lunch and order the Beef PHO it was delicious surprisingly definitely both of us were pleasantly pleased after the meal.“
