“Had dinner with some special friends on Sunday night and the evening was so enjoyable. We were greeted and seated by Dani the Manager who was able to seat us in a quiet cozy table. We enjoyed the crispy chili tofu, warm spinach dip with perfect garlic bread, and california rolls for appetizers. Following this was an amazing variation of mains from the cajun over roasted salmon (amazingly tender), tuna poke bowl, truffle tortellini, and the black truffle butter steak. We were there for about two hours enjoying our meal. Our server was wonderful, and we never felt rushed or ignored, despite the night being very busy. Overall, I was so pleased with the evening and look forward to our next visit.“

“Had a great experience at Home Restaurant! The food was delicious—we had the Eggs Benedict and Fish & Chips, and both tasted really good. Chocolate cheesecake is the best.

“We came in during late happy hour on a weekday, and although it was pretty busy, Najat was absolutely amazing. She was so kind, warm, and personable, and made the whole experience really special.

We ordered the Cajun Chicken Sandwich, and it was delicious! The chicken was juicy and flavourful, and everything came together really well.

What made the visit even more memorable was that we were celebrating finding out the gender of our first baby, and Najat surprised us by ordering dessert for us and putting it on the house. 🥹❤ It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture, and honestly meant so much to us.

Amazing food, but the service from Najat is what really stood out. She went above and beyond, and we’re so grateful for how special she made our celebration feel. Definitely someone who deserves recognition!“

“We love dining at Brown's Maple Ridge for family outings, or date nights. The atmosphere is a good time for all, feels more like downtown vibes, which is hard to find in our area. The crafted cocktails are delicious and the appies are great for sharing.

“This Brown’s on Glen has incredible service, Incredibly compassionate staff, and their food, especially the blackened chicken cowboy salad is like it used to be and back to phenomenal….yum… the chicken was so so tasty and tender …yummy! We were there the last week in May and while the service was slow it was still great!! The manager came by and apologized and also insisted he pay for a couple of drinks for us. Even though we insisted on paying as we simply appreciated him apologizing for the slow service. We had a great discussion about how hard it is to staff restaurants. I can’t recommend this Brown’s enough. Great place to go with two people, a small group or a large group.“

He was very knowledgeable in the drinks and food as I was looking for something as a light snack and highlighted the BLT, thaimato & basil and the chocolate croissant. “We went for Happy Hour and sat at the Fraser Bar. The atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious. The prices were very reasonable. I enjoyed four drinks, including my favourite Bellinis and highballs for just $5 each, and the wine was also well priced. After many visits to the area, we opted to take a chance and visit a different restaurant in the area. Wow! We were blown away. “This place literally came to our rescue.

We wanted to go for a little road trip.
So, we decided to head from West Vancouver all the way to Port Moody for lunch.

The original Brewery we wanted to go to was in an area that had been hi-jacked and overtaken by local folks, strollers, bikes and what seemed an endless amount of people on foot.
.......The Parade. Roads closed, traffic lights confused, and the so ever awesome bumper to bumper standstill of angry vehicles.
On this particularly hot day.

Keep in mind we had already been in traffic coming from the North Shore.
It was now 2pm.
We circled about 5 times and not a single parking space in sight, there might have been one available in Chilliwack.....moving on....

So, we decided....let's go someplace familiar, reliable, quality that will most likely deliver.
That's exactly what we got.

Little place called New Port Village.
Free parking right in front of Browns. Beautiful comfy inside and cozy sunny patio with great service.
The only thing I wanted was a cold beer and Dry Ribs I had been craving all day.

2 Stellas on tap.
Dry Ribs and The Traditional Burger.....and they all rocked.
I love Brown's Dry Ribs. I'm used to the ones from Cactus but Brown's is slightly meatier and juicier.
The Burger was perfectly cooked. Super Fresh. Stellar put together.
Cozy little booth away from the heat, cold beer, juicy burger and a feisty irresistible Dry Ribs.
....and all of this served to us graciously by our awesome server Grace.

“Super nice staff, insanely good prices. We just randomly arrived on a cold day as we were hungry and it was nearby. They even moved out a table for us as there wasn't any open at the time. Loved the Yorkies and yam fries. They mistakenly gave us extra fries too and just let us have it free. Will definitely consider going again if I'm in the area.“

“My wife and I went here in a Friday morning at 8am. There was no wait and we were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and took our orders almost immediately.
My wife had the Naty’s hearty breakfast with sausage while I had the classic Benny with a side of sausage. My wife had the smashed browns and waffles and I chose the shredded.
Our food arrived very quickly and tasted very fresh. I love eggs benny and I was very satisfied. I do wish there was a bit more hollandaise sauce, however that’s not a big deal at all. My wife also enjoyed her meal and mentioned how she liked that the syrup came warm.
The place itself could handle a small refurbishment with such things as paint chips and tightening of bathroom door handles. But overall we were very satisfied.“

“The service here is mediocre, the servers aren’t really around most of the time so it takes forever when I wait for them to grab me the bill. Also, the food takes forever to arrive so if you are in a rush, I don’t recommend eating here. Overall, the food itself is pretty good.“

“Nothing better than service with an attitude here for a hockey tournament, they closed the door said they’re at capacity despite several empty seats. The staff was super disorganized and only one waitress was bringing our food and drinks she’s run off her feet, while the two others focus on telling people they’re at capacity. “This is one of my favourite entertainment venues. They have great live bands and I love that you can enjoy decent meal and then dance the night away. The also have a pretty decent drink menu, but tequilla shots are not allowed for some reason. Tonne of fun every time I go though. 😄“

“Milestones Guildford is very easy to get to and has plenty of parking. We arrived for an early lunch and were seated right away. The staff were friendly and attentive, and our food came out fairly quickly.

I ordered the Southwestern omelette, which was a solid 3.5 stars for me. There wasn’t much sausage in it, and I wasn’t a big fan of the sauce on top, so I’ll try something different next time. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back“

“For the past 20 years or so, we have gone to the White Spot in PoCo to celebrate my nephew’s birthday on July 1st. Although the White Spot does not take reservations on that date, they have gone out of their way to accommodate our party (which has numbered 15 or more). The service has been great, and the food did not disappoint! Kudos to the White Spot for making a great family occasion that much better!“
