It’s been a while since we’ve dined here and I wanted to revisit a few days ago, We used to bring our young family frequently and enjoyed the traditional White Spot experience. So we brought our granddaughters. The legendary burger was as expected and nostalgic. Food was tasty but not hot enough. For the past 20 years or so, we have gone to the White Spot in PoCo to celebrate my nephew’s birthday on July 1st. Although the White Spot does not take reservations on that date, they have gone out of their way to accommodate our party (which has numbered 15 or more). The service has been great, and the food did not disappoint! Kudos to the White Spot for making a great family occasion that much better!

Based on the reviews, White Spot Port Coquitlam offers good food, especially the mac and cheese, the pasta, and the seasonal pot roast. The beef was tender, the broccolini fresh, the mashed potatoes creamy, and the Yorkshire pudding fluffy. The fries came fresh and hot with complimentary fry refills. However, the burger patties were dry. The ambiance is nice with lots of wood and plentiful windows, and the booth seating is comfy. The service is inconsistent. For large groups, the staff have gone out of their way to accommodate parties of 12 or 15, and the service has been great. Some servers are super sweet and friendly, engaging with guests and kids. However, other experiences mention cold and unwelcoming service, with a server acting inconvenienced, avoiding eye contact, and being disrespectful. There were also long waits for a refill on the Cesar Salad and for ice cream, even when the place was empty.
